Magmapaw jumped in shock when his name was called. Uh oh. He saw Goldenstar and the base of the tree. He made his way down the tree slowly, jumping from branch to branch. It was much easier going down this way than going up. He got low enough to skip the last few branches and jump down to the ground next to his leader.

“Oh thank starclan you are safe!” Goldenstar exclamed. “I was so worried...”
Suddenly she grew dizzy and blacked out. While she was on the ground she had a vision. She saw a small cat falling from high in the tree. When the small Tom hit the ground he tried to get up but was unable to use his legs. She stared in horror at the young Tom’s face, Twisted with fear as he yowled to the stars. She then came back into the waking world. Great starclan! She thought. What is happening to me!

Magmapaw looked at Goldenstar with much worry. "Goldenstar? Are you-" He didn't finish, his stifled a hiss of pain. He lifted his paw off the ground to find it bent the wrong way. The adrenaline wearing off, he was now feeling the full effects of pain as he closed his eyes and did his best not to scream in terror and pain. He put his paw back down before Goldenstar came out of whatever vision she had.

Though She was shaken she didn’t want magmapaw to know that. So she meowed hiding the fear quite well as she meowed like nothing just happend hopeing he would just drop the subject. “Now, let’s go to lotustail and let her check you over. And then and ONLY then if you are not hurt then I will teach you how to catch a bird in a tree the RIGHT way. And after that you will get some rest, you will be coming with me and lotustail to the moonpool.” Now I need to talk to starclan more than ever.

"I-" He didn't continue at first. He felt nervous and disappointed telling her he broke his paw. "I don't think I can move on my own." He said lifting his broken paw, doing his best to hide the pain in his voice.

“Alright. Then we will wait until your paw has mended to go, in the meantime I will have to help you back to camp.” Goldenstar sighed. Although she really needed to talk to starclan, she wanted her apprentice to come with her. She wished he had never climbed that tree without her. But at least it hadn’t been like her mother’s fall that had permanently destroyed her mother’s back legs. His paw would mend, and it could have been worse. She thanked starclan that it was only his paw.

"If it's that important. Why not just go?" He asked standing and started limping back to camp.

“I would like you to come with me. It will be your first trip out of the territory.” She meowed following him. “I want you to learn the forest clan’s scents. So that if they ever came to us for help then you would know who it is.”

“We must visit camp first to sleep. And while I value your bravery it is over two day’s journey. (Shineclan is very far away from any other clans.) also lotustail has to come with us. So let’s get back to camp and sleep then tomorrow if you feel up to it we will go.” Goldenstar meowed reasonably.
