Grovepaw nodded, agreeing to the warrior's plans. Not like he needed her to agree, but she liked to show that she was on board with what he said. "Sounds good to me," she chirped, before darting over to the camp entrance. She had enough sense not to run out into the territory without her warrior supervisor, however, and skidded to a halt. Her tail waved as she looked behind her, waiting for Monarchstep to come over. She was going to be able to see Windclan territory- how exciting! The last time she'd been shown Thunderclan's borders, the warrior had explained to his apprentice and to Grovepaw accompanying them that the Windclan area was too dangerous to show such young apprentices to, without having any battle training. Thunderclan had been on rocky terms with Windclan, but hopefully now it wouldn't be as dangerous. Either way, the young molly trusted Monarchstep. The tom definitely seemed to know what he was talking about.

Grovepaw, surprisingly, stayed quiet while the tom spoke, soaking up all the knowledge he was sharing. Windclan cats used to hunt underground? How cool was that! Weird, yeah, but very cool. She wondered what it'd be like to be underground, where sunlight wouldn't touch you. At the mention of gatherings, the molly's ears perked. "Really?" the brown she-cat gasped, bouncing in her spot. "Oh, thank you Monarchstep! I'll behave myself there, I promise! I already know the rules- no fighting allowed!" She gave a toothy smile at the warrior, happiness radiating from her. Now, she was determined to do her best today. She'd be on her best behavior and put forth as much effort as she could muster for battle training. She wanted to prove herself worthy of this gift Monarchstep was giving her, a gift of her first gathering. She also wanted to do her best as a way to thank the tom, as this meant a lot to her.
