Perhaps they deserved some form of forgiveness. As long as their acts hadn't been to horrible. The tom decided that his thoughts were too heavy for such a lovely day and tried to quiet his mind. Lynxheart focused instead on his plans for hunting later. He tried to decide where the he should hunt and if he should bring a patrol. He didn't have any friends to ask, but he could always ask the deputy if there were any cats he could take on a hunting patrol. Maybe he could even turn it into a border patrol and hunting patrol.

Goldensky's voice brought him out of his deliberations and he turned amber eyes to look at her. Sympathy softened his features, but there was no pity. He didn't pity her, knowing that any warrior was and should've been too strong and proud to accept any cat's pity. "No," he meowed in an even tone, "I don't think it could be." A thoughtful note entered his voice and he added, "But maybe that's not a bad thing. Adversity and hardship tends to strengthen relationships and weed out the ones you don't need."

(Sowwy ^^)

Goldensky listened silently as he spoke, and the pale golden Queen managed to smile softly at his words. "Perhaps." She replied softly, looking down for a moment. Maybe it was better things werent the same. Like he said. But she wasnt sure what Lynxheart meant about weeding out the relationships she didnt need, but the strengthening part she understood. She and Blackstorm were closer than ever now. Even she and Foxthorn spent more time together, Foxy often trying to help her earn loyalty from the rest of her siblings. She understood why they had a hard time trusting her and Blackstorm. But maybe.. Just maybe, she could prove herself to them, somehow. Them and the rest of ThunderClan. Goldensky wasnt going to give up easily. "Maybe one day they'll trust me again." She murmured, lowering her head and taking another bite from her mouse.

(It's oki :3 )

Lynxheart gave a barely perceptible nod at her quiet, one-worded reply. The tom lapsed into silence as he ate and thought. He didn't want to delve too deep into Goldensky's problem, as it wasn't really any of his business. He had, in fact, just met this cat. Lynxheart was happy with what he had said, and glad he had made his opinion known to her. Obviously, his opinion on the matter counted for very little since he had nothing to do with it, but he guessed that his particular opinion wasn't one she heard very often. The warrior decided to turn his attention away from the subject, satisfied with leaving that as the end of it. He politely didn't respond to her murmured words, feeling they were personal and meant more for herself than for his ears. The tom was unable to think of another topic and therefore, finished his meal in silence. Content, he stretched and stood. "I wish you well, Goldensky." He purred with a smile and a slight dip of his head, "I'll talk to you later." With that, the tabby tom walked towards the camp entrance and slipped away to hunt.

Ravenwing padded into the camp, black pelt shining in the sunlight. She trotted through the camp until she reached the cluster of rocks near the back where cats came to bask. The black and white she-cat jumped up onto one of the larger stones and stretched out, digging her claws into the edge of the rock and kicking a kink from her hind leg.

The warrior rested her head on her paws and narrowed her eyes, surveying the camp with mild interest. It was actually pretty cool today, so she was glad for the stones that held long-lost warmth beneath her. The green-eyed she-cat turned onto her side, stretching again and closing her eyes contentedly. Knowing her luck, the rain would start again as soon as she got comfortable. But for now, she'd enjoy it.

Slowly, Timberkit got up on her paws and waddled over to the other kit, who was waving their tail in accomplishment of their pounce. "You do realize that's a leaf, right? It's not a stick. Whatsoever."

She kept batting around the 'stick' excitedly until she found an actual stick and brought it back to the leaf, she turned to look at Timberkit,"look! I have two sticks now!" She mewed cheerfully.

Timberkit leaned back as the other kit looked at her. Her tail tip twitched in irritation at the kit's logic. Timberkit didn't know if the kit didn't even see or know the difference, or she was trying to annoy Timberkit. "I am not crazy!" she yelled back defensively, sure of herself that she was perfectly normal, "the difference? There's a giant difference! That is obviously not a stick!" her voice was reedy and high with an annoyed urgency. Timberkit resisted the rage to pin the kits paw down as she batted at the leaf. Was she just trying to make her explode? If so, it was working. Timberkit watched with frustration as the other kit retained a real stick and brought it back to where the leaf was. A heartbeat after the kit spoke, her ears were pinned to her head. "You have one stick. Not two. One!" she mewed restlessly. How would this kit understand?

Shinekitkit glared at her and mewed, with her naturally high pitched voice because she was a kit after all,"You are too, crazy! There is no difference whatsoever, and it's obviously a stick," she motioned towards the leaf," and you're right I do have one stick! But I have two one sticks! And that means I have two!" She squealed to Timberkit, genuinely thinking that sticks and leaves were the same thing.

A calico she-cat was lying beneath a tree branch which arched over her head, providing shelter from the light droplets of rain and keeping her cool from the humid air. Everpaw watched her clan mates bustle around the camp busily from where she sat. Normally she too would be scurrying around and not to take notice of any of the cats around her, but she had just been hunting from dawn to sunhigh and had decided to take a break. She deserved one. Now all she needed was a bit of peace and quiet to relax. Perhaps the camp wasn’t the safest place, but she didn’t like the idea of sleeping in the territory where it was more dangerous than the camp. Just as her eyelids were starting to sink downwards, the opened sharply again as someone spoke. With an expression of annoyance on her face, she glared at the cat who had disturbed her, fur bristling in agitation. She scanned the cat before she realised who it was. It was Buzzardpaw, a cat who she had only briefly talked to a few times before. She didn’t know much about him but she knew enough. The she-cat wouldn’t normally mind his presence, but right now she did. No one got in the way of her and her rest.

“It sure is,” Everpaw replied with an equally sarcastic tone. She ignored his previous questions, suddenly feeling rather grumpy. The calico apprentice wasn’t a fan of socialising and had a small amount of patience. She tried to be more patient around the few friends she had but sometimes it was just too hard for her. “What do you want? I was just about to fall asleep,” Everpaw continued, annoyance dancing in her yellow orbs. She rested her chin on her paws and looked away from the tom cat. She knew it was rude of her to fall asleep while someone was talking to her, but she wasn’t feeling very respectful right now. The she-cat had quite the temper and liked it when things went her way. Once again, the she-cat felt her eyelids drooping down and she let her muscles relax. Although she was on the verge of letting sleep take over her, she was waiting for the moment that Buzzardpaw awoke her again with words that spilled out of his mouth so easily. Anytime now I’m going to be awake again. She let out a quiet sigh.

----------

With a rabbit and a small mouse clutched between her jaws, Everpaw padded through the camp entrance. It had taken her all morning to find these two pieces of prey, but she’d finally done it. It was quite impressive for an apprentice, but that was just something that the calico did. She liked to push herself and she never stopped at average. She liked to overachieve and she didn’t care how long it might take her. She placed rabbit next the fresh kill pile keeping the mouse in her mouth at the same time. She carefully grabbed another small mouse from the pile before shaking out her pelt and padding over to a spot next the elders den. The area around the elders den was normally more quiet than anywhere else in the camp. Except for a few kits and elders, the area was abandoned. She placed down the two mice and starting taking bites out of one of them.

[Sorry it’s a bit short x.x]

@meraki

(haha it's fine! sorry for the wait x.x)

The grey head of a young apprentice lifted off of the grassy clearing floor, and he blinked his eyes open groggily. Hemlockpaw tiredly got to his paws, before quickly bringing his front close to the ground, front paws reached out in front of him to stretch his exhausted joints. A long yawn was released through his gaping jaws as he stretched out his back legs as well. Shaking out his fur, Hemlockpaw's jade green eyes flicked over to his good friend Everpaw, who was entirely focused on eating a mouse, seeming intent. With a shake of his grey pelt, the young tom padded over to her. "It's always 'go big or go home' with you I suppose," he cracked, a smirk playing on his maw. "So who's the tom? You can't kill a mouse and a rabbit without aiming to impress. So what's his name? Is he as handsome as me?" Hemlockpaw asked, nudging his friends shoulder with his paw, clearly joking around with her. He tended to joke like that, and you'd think his ego would be higher than the trees in the SkyClan camp, but in reality- it was a mere shell that Hemlockpaw had build up over time. He hadn't ever been comfortable with himself, but to hide that, he joked very immodestly and narcissistically. That was just one of Hemlockpaw's many quirks.

After this, she picked her way to the exit of camp to hunt, passing Rosetail on the way. "Hello," she meowed to the she-cat, pausing briefly. "I'm going hunting, do you want to come with?" she added politely. Although Autumnwind was more of an introverted cat, she knew that it was valuable to have relationships within her clan, and right now gaining these was the molly's goal.

" Yes, " replied Rosetail, " mind if Sorrelpad tags along, he is my mate, after all."

Re: ThunderClan Clearing

Snowbreeze had never been the type of cat who liked places where there were a lot of cats. She had never been the type of cat to hang out in the clearing, really, for fear that there would be too many cats there. But on this warm green-leaf day, that was exactly where she was found. Sitting in the clearing. A nervous expression graced her features and she glanced around at the cats who were sitting near her. They were all perfectly harmless, yet all Snowbreeze wanted to do was draw away from them. Was Sagefrost anywhere nearby? Her sister had always drawn her out of her frightened world and into a more comfortable one. Poor, poor Sagefrost... left alone with her kits since Wrenclaw had left her, but the tom was dead now.

She couldn't believe it. Part of her was furious, the other part felt a strange sense of satisfaction at knowing he couldn't hurt anyone else now. It was funny, and not a single cat that Snowbreeze knew would have believed that she was angry at another, considering her sweet and loving nature. Bright blue eyes stared outwards at the rest of the clearing, trying to focus on something other then the frightening crowded areas as the Siamese took a deep breath and concentrated hard. She had learned if she were to concentrate hard enough, it was easy to picture a serene and gentle area in her mind while her deep blue eyes were closed. Though the times she was able to do that were becoming thinner and thinner, what with the drama surrounding ThunderClan and WindClan. It was hard for her to eat. It was hard for her to sleep.

She was a nervous wreck at times, and at other times she felt as though the world was crashing down around her ears. She was confident that her world would hold some structure in the coming moons, at least she hoped so. She prayed so. It was the one thing she seemed to want more then anything else.
