Re: September Gathering

High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

On silent pawsteps, the tall dark-furred clan leader made his way towards the beach. It was that time once again. The moon was full and shining bright in the sky, casting a brilliant glow onto the land and sea below. The RiverClan tomcat couldn’t bring himself to react though, his partial gaze fixed on the ground ahead of him and his ears rested flat against his head. If he had the choice, they wouldn’t be here right now. But they didn’t attend the last Gathering, or the one before that, so it would look bad on his part to not show up for this one. His eye and body frame held an immense amount of exhaustion to it. Everything about him screamed tired. Despite all of that though, Pikestar kept on walking forward.

Reaching the line between the grass and the sand, the oriental longhair would gently draw to a halt and turn his head, looking back at the ground of RiverClan cats behind him. He said nothing once again, but gave them all a look that clearly meant ‘behave yourselves’. Pikestar didn’t have the strength or the patience to deal with foolish actions right now. And considering the recent turn of events in his life, the once kind-hearted feline wasn’t too keen on being as merciful and understanding. They were the first ones arriving tonight and this would be their first appearance before the clans without Skystar. He uttered a low sigh before turning away, continuing onwards with a flick of his tail. A gesture to follow.

Pikestar briskly approached the Seastones and hopped up onto the rocks, taking his place and sitting down. He would wrap his bushy tail around his paws before surveying the open area in front of him that would soon be filled with cats from all four clans. This should be an exciting thing for Pikestar. It was his first Gathering as leader, so he should be grinning ear to ear, yeah? That thought nearly made him huff, but he kept his mouth shut. His eye would flicker up to the stars, peering around and wondering which cats were watching him.

RIVERCLAN HAS ARRIVED.

Re: September Gathering

High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

~Slatewhisker~
Slatewhisker walked just a few pawsteps behind Pikestar, looking straight ahead. She was trying her best to stay calm but with her mind, it was difficult to not focus on something, especially when she was trying very hard. Right now, she focused on her breathing, in out, in out, and counting her pawsteps, but that never worked. Her mind always strayed to the things she didn't want to think about. So that meant she was thinking of her nervousness. This was to be her first gathering as deputy. She would be put in a new perspective to the other clans. She would be meeting the other deputies as well. That was something to look forward to.

She stopped when Pikestar did and she looked at him with curious eyes. What was he thinking? She often found herself thinking this, especially when his gaze and posture gave way to something that weren't put into words. She shook her head to attempt to clear it, but she knew it wouldn't work. It would just keep running and running, thinking of so many things at one time. God did she wish she could take a break once in a while.

Slatewhisker was about to follow Pikestar so she could accompany the leader before she sat down in her new spot when a thought was brought to her perspective. She had been thinking of this before they left camp but of course she had forgotten it in the midst of other thoughts. She turned quickly to her clanmates who hadn't yet gone to sit down and she lifted her head to look at them all. "Riverclan! Make sure to not cause chaos. I know we've been through a lot since the last time we attended a Gathering but that doesn't mean that we've forgotten common courtesy. Relax, mingle and talk, but make sure to try and make this a fun experience." She looked at everyone before padding away to where the deputies sat.

She picked a random spot and sat down, curling her tail over her paws. She couldn't remember how big the other deputies were but she was fairly big herself so she hoped she didn't come off as intimidating at first sight. She waited nervously for the other clans to arrive and a new thought popped up. She hoped she hadn't taken another deputy's spot. While she was sure there wasn't assigned places, perhaps one of them liked where she was sitting and be ticked off with her. No matter, she would simply move if asked.

Re: September Gathering

> Pebblefoot < She/they/he

Pebblefoot followed his leader, they weren't really looking forward to tonight, because lots of things had happened recently and Pebbblefoot didn't wanna deal with everything. She looked around, searching for Flintfang, but Flintfang wasn't at the Seastones yet. He hoped that everything would be settled in the coming moons, because if not, things would be so much different. As Pebblefoot looked around, they heard Slatewhisker's call, Pebblefoot nodded her head at Slatewhisker. The new RiverClan deputy was doing a very good job so far. And the clan in general was doing better than just a few moons ago, when they kidnapped an apprentice even though the clan didn't want to.

> Rootstripe < He/him

Rootstripe padded along, following Pikestar as the moon shined bright. This gathering would hopefully be better than the last few gatherings. There was likely going to be some chaos as usual, but not as much as there used to be. Their Fox-hearted old leader Skystar was going to pay for what he did to RiverClan. That cat was not a great cat. As he dashed over to the Seastones, he noticed that a lot of his classmates weren't dashing to the Seastones. But he was a good cat, so he got to dash whenever he can. Rootstripe loved the seastones so much. He got to talk to a bunch of other cats from the other clans! And it was so awesome, it always felt unreal! He also nodded to Slatewhisker, speaking: "Don't worry, I won't"

(Both open!)

A bit tired but awake, Gingerfrost made his way over the familiar trail to the gathering. He had managed to be within the first few, noting that his usual spot would be easier to reach with less cats in the way, even if it demanded a bit more activeness in terms of leaving camp. He wasn't quite surprised, but noted that for the first time in a while - that he recalled - RiverClan was the first to arrive at the gathering. Much like under previous leadership, before everything went downhill after Sootflare. Or during. The shield fluffed up his fur against the colder air, easily finding and seating himself within his usual central spot, with near perfect outlook on the leaders as his mentor had found and hoped, despite her lack of sight. Granted it depended on who sat infront of him, but it was a habit. Speaking off, where was Littlepaw? The tom recalled his much earlier decision of keeping an eye on her during this gathering. A bit unwilling but paying no mind to that, he got up (not actually leaving his spot unless necessary) and glanced around the arriving cats until he spotted the older apprentice. Resting his lazy gaze on her, Gingerfrost waved his tail for her to come sit by him - or near, at least. Just close enough to be within earshot over the loudness of all the clans combined.

Slatestripe padded into the open area before the Seastones, keeping pace with his Clanmates. His muscles rippled under his pelt, ready to spring to his Clan’s defense if some other Clan caused trouble. The other leaders had better be fair to their new leader. He was doing the best he could to pull them all together after Skystar’s disastrous leadership.

He looked around for some cat to sit near. He wasn’t too keen on interacting with cats from other Clans. He didn’t care much for having friends outside of his own Clan. He thought it asinine.

He caught site of Rootstripe and decided to approach him. “Excited for this Gathering?” he questioned.

Re: September Gathering

High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

It felt like eons since come here. She had gotten used to stepping upon the sand once every moon that being gone for a few moons made returning her feel a little off for her. Twilightstar entered the beach, pausing as her paws touched the grains, and glanced at the only other clan currently here. It was the fishy scented RiverClanners, she could deal with that. Anything was better than Dawnstar and ShadowClan in her opinion. The she-cat glanced over her shoulder at her clanmates, curiously before she began to make the walk to the seastones.

Her green eye swiftly located the other one-eyed leader already on the rocks. Snowleap? Did RiverClan really already lose Skystar? She supposed she should not be shocked, the way the other two clans went through leaders has become habitual to Twilightstar, although she'd admit that ThunderClan was a bit worst than RiverClan. In one smooth motion, Twilightstar joined the gray tom atop the stone and took a seat in her usual place. She offered Snowleap... or whatever it was his name was now, a light dip of her head in greeting but didn't bother starting up a conversation. She was affable, but still maintained an almost regal iciness. There was no need to make enemies yet they were no longer allies either.

The lilac feline wrapped her tail around her paws and looked out at her clanmates as she watched them mingle. Twilightstar wasn't particularly certain how they'd react with RiverClan, she'd like to assume that be anything but hostile. However, it didn't hurt to keep an eye on them. Twilightstar had kept her word, staying out of ThunderClan and RiverClan's affairs, but kidnapping an apprentice was enough to put anyone on guard. It would take a little for Twilightstar to let that go. She was hoping this gathering when along quickly and quietly. She wanted to hear how the other clans were faring and then head home preferably without drama... at least from WindClan.

The orange and white molly followed her leader, keeping an eye on him. Normally, she would have been all smiles during a gathering, exchanging polite greetings and kind words, but she now felt it was a chore. With her son gone, and Pikestar seeming always to be on the verge of collapse, she felt a wave of protectiveness for her leader.

She sidled up to Koipool. "I'm rather anxious for this gathering to begin." She eyed the WindClan leader, uneasy.. It seemed RiverClan had earned themselves a rather nasty position. They had fought with ThunderClan over Firefly Cove, and now WindClan turned they're back on them. And Dawnstar was out of the question.

~Wolfsong of Riverclan | @Evermore~

Pausing for a moment before stepping onto the sand, the silver tabby felt her pelt flush warm at Fawnleap's words. Shoving down the spark of guilt that lit up in her chest, Wolfsong's icy blue eyes flashed towards the stars for a moment before resting on the mahogany pelted she-cat she was lucky enough to have as a girlfriend.
I got lucky you were there to rescue me.
Flashing a small smile, Wolfsong brushed up against the other warrior, a little chuckle coming from her.
"You're one to talk, your pelt is glistening in the light off the water," she purred, eyes sparkling light the starlight off the crests of the waves. Looking ahead through the reeds sheepishly, she took a deep breath to steady herself.
"Shall we?"

~Moonfrost of Riverclan | Open~

Padding along behind Pikestar and Slatewhisker, the dark tabby couldn't help but notice how her friend's shoulders slumped in exhaustion. After everything he had gone through, it was no wonder he was showing signs of the stress. Making her way to pad level with the dark furred leader for a moment, she gave a sympathetic blink.
I'm here for you, my friend.
As the cats began to spread out, she chose a spot closer to the Seastones, where she could provide a supportive presence.

~Hawkblaze of Windclan | Open~

Stifling a yawn, the stocky tom lumbered after his leader. He wasn't entirely sure why he had decided to come this time, it's not like he enjoyed the chaos of Gatherings. Although he was intrigued when he noticed that a dark furred longhair was leading Riverclan instead of the golden furred tabby he had seen previously. Maybe this would be interesting. Choosing a spot off to the side of the crowd, Hawkblaze planted his haunches in the sand and lazily began grooming the silt out of his pawpads.

Slatestripe just shook his head at the young cat’s intense enthusiasm, although his eyes still shone. Rootstripe was acting like an apprentice at their first Gathering! Slatestripe supposed that was alright, given that most of RiverClan seemed somewhat apprehensive.

“I agree that Skystar was a terrible leader,” he meowed. “I truly think RiverClan will be better off without that cat. I’m just glad StarClan still awarded our new leader his nine lives.”

He looked up as Twilightstar bounded up to join RiverClan’s leader. Slatestripe narrowed his eyes, noticing that WindClan’s leader seemed a tad frosty toward RiverClan’s. “I wonder how many lives Twilightstar has left,” he mused to Rootstripe. “She’s been leader for two season-cycles now, I believe.”

As Wolfsong chuckled (a sound she knew would never grow old,it was beautiful) Fawnleap felt like her heart was going to beat out of their chest. “You’re One To Talk.,Okay Miss Beautiful, and We Shall.” Fawnleap lightly giggled as they spoke playfully. Their White paws left slight indents in the sand that would soon be overrun by other cats very own paw prints. Fawnleap remained close to the grey shecat.
Never losing sight of her in this crowd,Wolfsong was far too beautiful to be forgotten in a growing crowd of cats. The demigirl trotted forwards, sitting next to wherever Wolfsong had found them a spot among their fellow clan cats. “Good lord,You’re so pretty.” The demigirl slammed her paw to her mouth. Shoot.....umm. Fawnleap wrapped their tail around Wolfsongs own,Hopefully giving a slight sense of comfort to her girlfriend. Fawnleap was praying that everything went smooth this time around. Wolfsong didn’t need anymore stress, she was already going through enough,so much that Fawnleap could only think of.

Before Slatestripe could answer, the other cat bounded off. Slatestripe chuckled softly. Some cats truly had more energy than they knew what to do with. Flintfang

“Surpise.” The silver-furred tom murmured in greeting as he moved into place beside his best friend, Pebblefoot. His appearance was rather abrupt, and Flintfang hoped he hadn’t scared Pebblefoot. Blinking, the swift-legged feline raised his head, scanning the gathered crowd through hopeful sage green eyes. But alas, only WindClan had arrived, and save for them, no other Clans were here.

With a quiet, almost inaudible sigh, Flintfang sat down, curling his tail neatly around his paws to wait. He didn’t care for talking to any other Clan cats, unless it was a ShadowClanner. And by ShadowClanner, Flintfang was referring to a very specific feline. Raccoonpelt.

Shaking his head, he turned back to Pebblefoot, the ever-present sparkle of amusement glinting in his eyes. “How are we today, oh high and mighty Pebblefoot?” The tom-cat teased lightly, reverting back to his usual theatrics.

Rosepaw
(Open For Interaction :heartbounce:)

Rosepaw slunk in after her Clan, wide, sapphire eyes scanning the clearing with no small amount of awe. She’d never seen so many cats, and one quick glance at the Leader’s perches told her that this was only two Clans gathered here for now. Tilting her head to the side, Rosepaw wondered how full the place would be with all four Clans in attendance. That thought alone also alerted her to the fact that if she didn’t find a place to sit soon, all the preferable spots would be taken. So with a quick sweep of the clearing, Rosepaw hesitated and began straying in a random direction, trying not to stare at any cat that caught her interest. She felt both excited and pathetic. Excited because this was the first Gathering she'd ever attended, and pathetic because everyone was going to witness her spending this time alone. Unless she found some way to weasel herself into an apprentice group, which would be very unlikely, since Rosepaw disliked bothering others, as she called it.

Midnightpaw padded towards Seastones, her gaze directed somewhat to the ground. She wasn't in the mood to go to the Gathering but she decided that it would be good to socialize. She felt the ground change to sand and she looked up, the fish scent having had invaded her a while ago. She was sure her mother would mention about the break in the truce this night but in particular, she was interested in the gray cat that was sitting in the deputy spot. Who was that?

She shrugged before looking around, her amber gaze for some reason stopping at a particular cat who was also looking around. Curious, she slowly padded over to the cat. They looked sort of familiar but she couldn't place them. "Looking for someone?" She meowed, her voice somewhat quiet as she reached them.

Birdpaw was quite proud of herself as she entered the Seastones. Considering how her past three gatherings had ended in her life being threatened, her watching two cats be murdered, and her bleeding from an attack form a thunderclanner, she was being very bold to assume that nothing bad would happen to her this gathering. But she wanted to give Gatherings one last chance. And maybe she would see Softpaw, that nice apprentice she had met a couple gatherings ago. Yes, maybe this would be okay.

Re: September Gathering

Snowypaw
WindClan

Massive, clumsy paws kicked up sand as the large apprentice followed the rest of WindClan, keeping to the back of the group. Snowypaw could feel his shoulders tense up with nervousness. He had only been an apprentice for a moon and was just now attending his first gathering. He felt he should be excited, but anxiety was really all he could muster. Gatherings felt like the time to show the best of yourself, make sure you made a good representation of your clan. Snowypaw was fairly certain he was as far from being able to show himself in even a half decent light as he was from the stars above.

Turning big blue eyes at the sky, he focused on the moon, hoping to relax himself. After all, there was one reason to be excited for the gathering, if all else failed. He might get to meet up with Flamepaw again! His first and only meeting with the ThunderClan apprentice had been cut woefully short at the ThunderClan border, and he really didn't know anything about the apprentice, but he had connected with her better than he had almost any other apprentice from WindClan to this date.

This thought made the gentle giant scoff. He had no one but himself to blame for that, really. Maybe if he had more to offer other cats than just awkward silences and his oafish lack of finesse that would not be the case. One mismatched ear twitched at this thought. Come to think of it... maybe he had misread his meeting with Flamepaw. Maybe he had not made as good an impression on her as she had on him. No... scratch that. He had most certainly not made as good an impression on her as she had on him. And if so, there was every possibility that she wouldn't even remember him, let alone look forward to seeing him again. Maybe it would simply be best if he kept to himself and did not bother her if he did get to see her...

Scenting the air as WindClan mingled with the cats already gathered there, Snowypaw realized there was really nothing to worry about yet, regardless. Judging by the smells, it was only RiverClan and WindClan here. Still, this pause was all the young tom needed to feel the small glimmer of excitement he had hung on to for so long fade away. A small, disappointed sigh escaping him, Snowypaw decided the best he could do for WindClan was to stay quiet and well out of the way. Yes. That would no doubt be best. Feeling his shoulders relax as he came to this conclusion, the patched apprentice slowly settled down by the edge of the clearing, sitting comfortably as he kept a now calmer eye on the amalgamation of cats before him.

Seedheart
She/They
47 Moons

[ Seed was actually there the night/day they were born funnily enough, but wouldn't recognize the TwiBabs cause of how long it's been @Fierce Roses ]

Seedheart had been so caught up in looking for the Windclan leader that she had barely noticed the younger cat that approached her. She looked vaguely familiar to the tortoiseshell, but was unable to place a name, nor a memory.

The apprentice did smell of Windclan though, so she imagined that the little one had been a kit when Seedheart lived in Windclan. This was the first Windclanner to approach Seedheart, but she figured that they may be easier to talk to over a cat that could recognize them. Twiligtstar wouldn't be going anywhere, and the molly was busy with the other leaders.

"Ah sorry, just looking for an old friend", Seedheart meowed. They could feel the heat from under their fur and didn't want to imagine if their face showed how embarrassed they we're. They gave their fur a few nervous licks (OOC Moment; how has she not developed a bald spot with the amount of times I've had her do that!?!?!) before returning their heterochromic gaze onto her.

"You're from Windclan right? My name is Seedheart, what's yours?"

[ Note : Seedheart isn't really thinking as a RC cat yet and if Midnight was like "I can't talk to u, ur an enemy cat" or something she'd genuinely be so confused. I'd also love it if she didn't find out Midnight was a TwiBab immediately XD ]

the siamese stuck closely to his kit, making sure to avoid losing her in the ever growing crowd of cats. repeatedly, he would look down just to make sure fawnpaw's familiar brown pelt was still there. beansprout didn't feel safe leaving her to be on her own, especially since she had to sit by all the medicine cats at her first gathering! well, if fawnpaw told him to go, he would, of course. but otherwise, he was sticking to her side like a stubborn burr.

High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

Fallownose followed along silently behind Twilightstar as she led WindClan to the sandy beach where the Clans gathered every moon. Or at least it was usually every moon, though there had been no Gatherings the past two. The tall tom wouldn't be surprised if there was chaos because every Clan had much news to share, some good and some bad. The announcement that WindClan was breaking the alliance with RiverClan worried him most, especially since it was hard to predict how Skystar would react.

The scent of RiverClan drifted across the WindClan deputy's tongue as the group of cats padded onto the shore. A glance at the Seastone showed Twilightstar making her way up to sit beside Sky- no. It was... Snowleap? Had RiverClan really lost another leader so soon, or was Snowleap only filling in? The presence of a large dark gray she-cat on the stone where the deputies sat told Fallownose that Snowleap must indeed be the leader of RiverClan now. Was ThunderClan going to walk in next with Sparrowflight jumping onto the Seastone and a new deputy instead of Cinderstar?

Fallownose already felt a headache forming as he made his way over to where the RiverClan deputy was sitting. His long legs allowed him to leap onto the stone easily, and he gave a nod of greeting to the molly as he sat. "Greetings," he said simply, eyes scanning over the crowd of cats as the two Clans began to mingle. It felt weird to be the most senior deputy, though he had held the position for nearly six moons. Hopefully, these ones would last longer and not become leaders too quickly. Inexperience never led to good things, though hopefully, Snowleap would manage to pull through.

**Toadpounce of Windclan**
[OPEN]

The thin spotted tom padded in behind his leader on uneven steps. The trek to the open beach was more difficult than he remembered it being in moons passed. The dog attack that had left him with a gimpy shoulder and their former deputy dead seemed so long ago yet he was still feeling the pain with every step. Then it was only exacerbated by the badger attack as he was assessing his former apprentice. A heavy pit had settled in the once buoyant, eccentric tom. He could think of few fatal or near fatal attacks in his lifetime and he had now been apart of two of the recent ones. It was difficult to not draw the conclusion that he had been a common denominator and thus could he really continue believing the attacks had nothing to do with him personally? Was Starclan angry wi the him for failing his family? He didn’t know where his parents or mate were, as well as most of his kits, and Cobwebpaw…Cobwebpaw… Where he’d normally shake away the thoughts, now he let himself ruminate in them, if he could even shake himself free of them if he tried. Slowing to the back of the group as they approached, Toadpounce made his way out onto the sandy shore then picked a nearby open spot to gingerly lay himself down and prepare for the gathering.

[ @SpiritedWarrior ]

Littlepaw glanced around nervously. The last time she had been here, she had given a Clan secret away and caused so much chaos it was unbearable. Would the other Clan leaders be skeptical? Judging? But she pushed that thought away with a slight hiss. It was rather unexpected and she shut herself up quickly before anyone else had heard. Luckily, no Clan had arrived yet so she wouldn't be facing any critical, judging, stares. But she was facing one stare. Gingerfrost. At his beckoning, Littlepaw quickly padded up to him and sat down to sit beside the familiar cat that had helped her (beside Slatestripe of course) gain her confidence.

WINDCLAN HAS ARRIVED

It was quite nervewracking, so many cats that he hasn't met in the same area of WndClan. In a place that was so unfamiliar to him and hopefully unfamiliar to his fellow apprentices ao they could share the experience together. It would be better, and hopefully he wouldn't feel like an outsider. Badgerpaw flicked his eyes across the approaching clearing, keeping himself close to Twilightstar in a sort of comfort, though it wasn't that much more comfortable when his mentor moved herby up to the stones above him.

Widening his green eyes, the tuxedo tom quickly stopped himself from climbing atop the rock alongside his leader. What was she doing on the giant rock anyway? Was that where the important cats of each Clan went? Most likely... the tom grumbled to himself. After only having two friends and three cats talking about him behind his back, anger gnawed its way into his mind and the only rational decision he could make at the moment was sit close to the rock, a fair distance away from his Clanmates but not enough to be rude.

The splotched ginger and white molly quickly jumped out of surprise when being slid up to, not showing it though “Hello, Lilycreek. There's no need to be worried! It'll be fine, everything that happened in the past was Skystars doing.” Koipool returned the friendly smile she usually showed off, her yellow orbs quickly scanning back and forth to if anyone minded that she brought the name of an terrible leader in the conversation.

Fawnpaw
Numb. That was what Fawnpaw felt as she followed the path towards Seastones. Worry for Pikestar gnawed at her stomach as her blue eyes flickered over to where he led the Clan at the head of the pack. It hadn't been long since... stars, she couldn't even think about it. It made her ears flatten and eyes turn to the ground. If she were to have any hope at making it through this gathering, she knew she couldn't think about the bodies. She just couldn't.

Thankfully the familiar scent of her dad washed over her in a comfort and Fawnpaw turned to smile at him. She was glad he was here on such an important night, not only because of the gathering but because she would be meeting the rest of the medicine cats. Hopefully they would be open to talking, or at least receptive of the gifts she had brought; three perfectly round shells. She would also introduce them to her dad, to whom she stepped closer to. A small touch of her nose to his shoulder before she stepped out onto the sandy shorelines.

They usually sat off to the side, right? Near the rocks. Taking a deep breath, Fawnpaw padded towards the area taking note that no one seemed to be gathered yet. WindClan had filed in after them, but there was no sign of Cowpaw yet. Taking a seat nearby, she dipped her head towards the WindClan deputy as she set her shells down. "Hello, Mr. Fallownose. I... I wanted to apologize for jumping onto the rocks at the last gathering. I do hope you can forgive me." It had been in the heat of the moment, defending her brother. But that didn't mean she wanted to be known as the cat who interrupted gatherings.

She shivered. Having one cat as your enemy was one thing; having all of the other leaders of the clans has quite another. She noticed Twilightstar had exchanged frosty greetings with Pikestar, and a part of her wanted to claw the look off her face in order to spare her friend, but another part of her beat it down, stamping it flat. She noticed Slatewhisker sitting at the base of the rocks, looking steady but a little nervous.

"And how gracious are the leaders willing to be? The damage is already done." It didn't seem plausible to her the leaders would forget everything Skystar had done.

Rainglow watched the gathering and sighed. All these cats of different clans... talking to each other? He had never had a friend from a different clan... maybe now was the time to make one! eerrrrr perhaps he'd just look at rocks... the tom plopped himself down to study a few pebbles at his feet. They where quite beautiful.... [open]

Koipool simply just sighed to Lilycreeks response “To tell you the truth, I have no clue how we'll get out of this situation and it's even concerning.”

Flashlight
__
Flashlight yawned, it was late for this. Sure, every Gathering was held at night, cats were semi-nocturnal, the lateness of the Gathering shouldn’t have been an issue for most cats. Heck, all cats. Of course, though, Flashlight was apparently not apart of all cats.
He sleepily followed behind Pikestar and Slatewhisker, slightly dragging his paws as he did so. This would be his first Gathering as a full Warrior of RiverClan, so anyone who had conversed with him before this Gathering (which was no-one) would have known him as Flashpaw. (Nobody) would certainly be surprised, wouldn’t they?
Flashlight yawned and plopped his butt down on some pebbles, hoping that their uncomfortable texture would keep him awake through the Gathering. Like, how embarrassing for him and RiverClan both if he fell asleep in the middle of his own leader’s announcement. Yeah, that would not be good, not at all.
It seemed like there was already a pretty big turnout even though there were only two clans present at the moment, he expected the number to grow. Maybe the noise of cats talking and moving around would keep him awake, yeah.
He yawned, this was going to be a long Gathering nonetheless.

Large mottled tabby tom with a nub tail and green eyes

The tom purred at Specklepaw's words, before he turned to his sister, Cloudwillow, who he hadn't even seen walk to Seastones. "Well, well, there you are, mouse brain. What took you so long?" His voice was teasing and he flicked the dilutes ear gently with his paw. His sister had been sluggish and tired recently, and he hoped that she wasn't coming down with anything. He never noticed her in the warriors den at night this past moon, at least not often.

The molly had just made her way over to her brother and nephew, when her brother had already started to tease her. She felt his paw on her ear and she snorted before placing a paw on his greying maw. "Okay, old man. You're one to talk. I think Specklepaw and I are gonna go talk to WindClan cats and ditch you." She stretched her forelegs out and smirked, before sitting beside her family.

Wolffeather sat by himself, gazing around at his clan and Riverclan. She made an annoyed noise, even if the Riverclan cats swam in water, it was filled with fish dirt. Couldn't be that clean. At least Windclan had nothing to get them dirty. He frowned at that. So instead of meeting with any cat, they sat alone and made their fur cleaner.
