Scratch sniffed at an opening in the mountain. It smelled of cat. "Hello," he called, his voice echoing off the walls.

"I don't know. I noticed a hole on the edge of my territory and decided to explore." Sand said with a shrug. She noticed a weird rock and crept closer to sniff at it. She recioled with a disgusted expression. "That stinks!"

Sand lifted her head. "You. Scratch. You just got added to the exploration party. Keep up." She said. As she walked past Red Sand rested her tail on his shoulder briefly before going on.

His tail twitching languidly in the darkness, Moonbeam let out a soft hiss. His pure white fur meant he would stand out if even a little light was cast upon him, but in the shadow of a jagged rock he was completely invisible. The albino tom let out another, soft hiss, his pink eyes twitching. There were three of them in the cave. They must know that it was a bad idea to go past this point, mustn't they? He hoped they did, or unpleasant things would be in store for them. Stepping into the path, his fur almost like a light in the bits of light still around them, the tom might have looked like a ghost. STOP. he commanded, his paw reaching forward. To pass beyond this place is to enter the realm of the dead. Many have gone in, and very few have come out. And the one's that have have been........changed. While it sounded cryptic and laughable, the tom really believed what he said. There was no accounting for the things he had know to happen. @Snow Fox @feather lily @MooingPanda

Scratch skidded to a halt, gaping at the cat in front of him. He looked like a ghost, suddenly appearing from nowhere, meowing about the 'realm of the dead'.

Lily was looking around and playing in the snow. Her silver pelt was shaking around, flinging any snow off her pelt. Then she stopped. She smelled the air and looked around. There! A little bundle of...something. Lily walked over to it and looked at it. "Oh no! A small kit! Are you ok?" Lily mewed laying down next to it, giving it warmth.

Lily looked at the cat. "I'm sorry little kit, but I'm not your mommy. My name's Lily and I'm a loner." Lily mewed softly.

Lily softly ran her paw over the kit's face. "Don't be scared. I may not be your mother, but I will' take care of you like you were my kit." Lily mewed. She started grooming the kit's fur.
