Sky Glade
A wide-open area reclaimed by WindClan after losing it to ShadowClan. The Sky Glade is dominated by heather, with a single pine tree known as the Lone Pine sitting in the center. Below the Lone Pine, a small network of tunnels can be found where an abandoned Warren is located. |
Re: Sky Glade
(first :p) Shadestorm smiled over the memories from the battle as he entered their new piece of land, the blood, the death, everything they had done had paid of, not just to get the nice place but to see the fear and anger on the bunnies faces when they had rushed back with their tails between their legs, fleeing in shame over their own cowardliness and weakness, not at all like the mighty Shadowclan. He grin got wider as his thoughts went on, soon they would take over the whole of Windclan, as long as they had Dawnstar they would continue to thrive and spread fear into the other weaklings. Re: Sky Glade
**Cougarivy** Cougarivy stepped out from the cover of trees. She breathed in the stale scent of the Windclan border markers. A giddiness ran along her spine. She looked out over the open expanse of moorland, a single pine tree standing erect and proud against the clear blue sky. She breathed in, her lips parted; she could almost believe she tasted the scent of bunnyclan blood still lingering on the breeze. Her mouth watered tantalizingly, her lips curled up in a smile. She padded out into the open, the heather brushing against her pelt and the breeze ruffling her fur. She tried to imagine what the battle would have looked like: the clash of cats, bodies on bodies, claws meeting flesh, red blood spattering over the pale grasses. She let a shiver run down her body attempting to loosen the excitement building within her. Oh how she wished she could've been here! It sounded like such fun! She gazed out over the new borders, hoping to catch sight of some bunnies. Maybe she'd get lucky enough to catch a patrol who'd forgotten how heather-spined their clan was, losing their own land, she'd get to sink her claws into some bunnies. But when she lifted her nose in the hopes of finding fresh Windclan scent, she instead found a faint trace of a Shadowclan scent. She opened her mouth to bring the scent over her tongue. Only one. It was familiar though she couldn't quite place it. She turned to try to find the source. @Angelique |

Ravenheart sat in a sunny spot in the cearing. It was good to get away from her kits.

Re: Sky Glade
[ @Lavender'fur ] Loonfeather looked up at the clear blue sky as they reached the Sky Glade. There were only a few fluffy white clouds drifting lazily across the sky, accented by a couple hawks that were looking for something to swoop down on. They were all the way on the other side of the Sky Glade, past the lone pine tree that stood at its center. The grass was more and more overrun by heather the farther in they got, its sweet smell filling his nose. “It sure is nice out today,” he said, gazing around. The walk over had been quite pleasant, and now that he had stretched his legs on the trek up here he wanted to chase some rabbits, if they were given the good fortune of finding some. Before that, though, he decided to ask, “Did this help you wake up any?” |

;Hopepelt; The sky filled her with joy. Something she had barely seen, even when she went to Gatherings it was dark. Travelling to other Clan's Territories wasn't really what she did, either. She had seen the moon, but the sun was always hidden by a canopy of leaves in the areas she knew best. Even in Camp, though it could be seen sometimes, leaves often covered it, sending the light dappling on the ground. The sky was a beautiful thing, she decided there and then, and Sky Glade was her new favorite place in the Territory. "It's beautiful out here." was all she said, moving her focus from the cloudless sky to the open space around them. It was perfect for kits to run and play in - if only this place was close enough to Camp for the young Apprentices - or even older kits - to play in safely with a Warrior's supervision. |

He watched the way Hopepelt’s face changed as they left the cover of trees to stand out in the open, surrounded by sky and heather and grass. The sun felt wonderful on his fur, and he imagined it did on hers, too. After all, they didn’t get much sunlight in the clearing, just a few patches of sunlight here and there that were often taken by the elders. “It sure is,” Loonfeather murmured, gazing across the horizon. Suddenly a sound caught his attention and a rabbit popped its head out from the plants growing all around it. It hadn’t seen them yet. He signaled for her to be quiet and slipped into a crouch, swiftly but lightly moving towards the rabbit. It caught sight of him once he was a tail-length away, but by then he leaped onto the creature and sunk his teeth into its neck, ending its life quickly. He walked back over to Hopepelt and set the rabbit at his feet. “Why don’t we find a nice place out here to enjoy this rabbit?” he said. |

;Hopepelt; The Warrior smiled softly. "That would be amazing, thank you!" she meowed, padding over to a sunny spot near enough to the trees so they could escape if needed. Which she desperately hoped wouldn't happen - WindClan were probably still licking their wounds and wouldn't attack yet. Still, it was better to be safe, and in this spot the wind felt nice and the sun was warmer than ever. She motioned for Loonfeather to lay next to her, and as she waited for the fellow Warrior to come over, she started grooming her chest. The rabbit smelt amazing, and she was excited to try it - lizards and mice would always be better, but there was no harm in trying a new food! And rabbits would probably appear on the fresh-kill pile more often now, she she might as well know if she liked them or not here rather than anywhere else. |

Re: Sky Glade
[Is this good, you can ignore me if you want] Dry leaves crunched over Shadestorm's large paws and he padded over their new territory and a spark of pride glittered in his eyes as he remembered the battle that had been fought here, that he had fought here. He, Shadestorm had battled with the deputy of the bunnies, and not just battled, he had made the thing flee. So he must have been sick in the fight against Riverclan, against that large, fish-kittypet, that was the only way he could have lost. A faint but clear rustle above him snapped him out of his thoughts. This was probably the only tree out here in the otherwise open area. "Who's there?!" he called, since he could feel the scent of a cat up there and not a bird or other animal. He thought he could catch a glance of someone but not enough to make out who it was. It better not be someone like Meadowpaw, a cat afraid of it's own shadow, Shadestorm didn't have the nerves to deal with one of those now. |

[I think I’m getting over being sick. Hooray!] Loonfeather bent down and picked up the rabbit again, glad that Hopepelt seemed to be having a good time out at the Sky Glade. He followed her over to the nice spot she had picked out, in a lovely bit of sun not too far off from the trees if the heat got to be too much for them. He had to admit, the sun felt wonderful against his fur and the soft breeze that floated through was enough to make him want to curl up and take a nap. Setting down the rabbit, he nudged it over to her. “Here, you can have the first bite,” he said. It was strange to be catching something other than things like frogs and rats, but he wouldn’t say no to it. It certainly was fatter than either, so it would go a long way towards feeding the Clan. After Hopepelt took a bite, he asked, “How is it?” |
Re: Sky Glade
**Elmshadow** Elmshadow padded through the pines. He could see through the broad trunks as they began to thin out and open onto moor. Whose idea was Sky Glade? He wasn't well suited for rabbit hunting, with his size and lack of tail for the extra balance. He shrugged and decided to stay within the trees to focus on prey he was better capable of catching. If the others wanted to hunt the new territory they'd be welcome to and close by. "Anybody want to try their luck at bunny hunting? I'll stick to the pines, but we won't be too spread out from here." @Zesha @Pheasantflight @linlime |
Re: Sky Glade
“Sure, I’ll see if I can catch a rabbit.” Loonfeather slunk forward into the heather of the Sky Glade and opened his mouth to try to catch wind of some rabbits. Even if he could find something like a mouse or bird out here, that would be fine. Better than bringing back nothing. After a while he caught the scent trail of a lone bunny, shuffling himself quietly along until he could peek over the grass to look at it. There it was, nibbling on something. He drew himself closer, about to spring when the rabbit smelled him and panicked.
Not wanting to lose his quarry, he raced after it. It darted towards the pine trees at the edge of the territory, and he was almost upon it when suddenly it disappeared into the ground and he found himself head-to-head with a tree trunk. WHACK! He thumped to the ground, dazed. He lay there a few minutes before managing to pick himself up and mutter, “Ugh, my head...” @Ravensong @Pheasantflight @linlime |
Re: Sky Glade
@Zesha @Ravensong Falconfeather followed the two toms to the Sky Glade. She wasn't quite certain what her thoughts on the new stretch of land were. It was strange, not hunting in pines. Why did Shadowclan need this land anyways? It didn't seem to be their forte. As they slowed to a stop, ELmshadow presented an idea of someone taking to the moors to see if they could hunt and rabbits. Plausible plan, but as Loonfeather presented himself as the prime option, she snickered. He did not seem the type, but no matter. Turning away, she gave herself a few moments to narrow in on a mouse before quickly pouncing on it. The demise of a blackbird followed a few seconds later. Thump! Falconfeather spun around as her prey, a vole, darted off. Loonfeather flopped onto the ground by a tree, a rabbit racing away from him. aShe snickered and stepped forward before breaking into laughter. "Are you alright?" There was a more pressing question though. "Did you run into a tree? What were you doing, hunting it?" It was the first time she had laughed for a while. |
Re: Sky Glade
**Elmshadow** Elmshadow turned into the shadows of the towering pines as Loonfeather padded out onto the moorland and Falconfeather started her hunt. She'd quickly caught a mouse. Elmshadow nodded, mildly impressed at her form and efficiency. He focused in on his own hunt, parting his lips to let the surrounding scents wash over his tongue. He quickly picked up lizard, birds, and a vole. He narrowed in on the lizard and his eyes pinpointed its location, mostly camouflaged among the pine litter. He crouched and stalked silent over the ground. He paused to let the air settle then pounced, killing it swiftly. A black bird caught his attention from the corner of his eye. He stilled his body as he noticed the bird alerted but did not appear to have seen him. After a moment the bird resumed pecking among the roots of a large pine. Elmshadow abandoned his lizard and stalked cautiously toward the bird. He paused, bunching the muscles in his hind legs tightly before releasing. Midair, a thump followed by groans echoed through the forest. His bird spooked and lifted into the air noisily. His paws landed in the spot the bird had been but he locked onto the bird and leapt again with a frustrated scowl. Reaching out, he managed to snag a few claws into the birds tail feathers. It was enough to bring it awkwardly back down where he shuffled quickly, pinning the bird down and biting down on its neck. Elmshadow huffed irritably and looked up. He carried his black bird and dropped it beside the lizard before padding out to figure out the cause of his sloppy catch. He saw Loonfeather lying on the ground dazed and Falconfeather laughing and quickly pieced together what had happened. He sighed and padded to his patrol. It was nice to see Falconfeather laughing but the exasperation at the interruption was forefront. "How'd you manage to run into a tree? Hunting bunnies like Windclan, now trying to climb trees like Thunderclan? Did you forget trees go up?" @Zesha @Pheasantflight |
Re: Sky Glade
-->Crowtail
The large black tom was out late at night, lurking around in the new area of Shadowclan. He used to always come out at night even when he was a rogue. It was always so lovely. Not that he was here, because it's lovely. It was more peaceful and he didn't have much to worry about. He hadn't been this far out, but he would use his good sense of direction. |

X http://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/...ictureid=24944 ( I’m using her -w-) A white fluffy cat that seems to have grey blue markings was near the same area, she seemed to be watching some squirrels and other animals run around, she had no intention of pouncing and hunting the creatures as it was night now. She has no reason as she had already ate her fill that day. The feline didn’t notice the other for quite some time, not at all really just enjoying watching the prey play, she started thinking about her family well old family considering her mate was from another clan and took the kits once they were old enough to leave her. She found it rude and hurtful that he would do that then again she didn’t say anything as she didn’t want to leave her home. She only wished he left one for her to look after and raise as her own. Enough with the sad thinking, she shook her head and looked over seeing the other” I didn’t expect anyone else to up and about this late” she spoke softly towards the male nit wanting him to think she was a trespasser when she wasn’t |
Re: Sky Glade
Loonfeather shook his head, trying to get the spinning to stop. It wasn’t flawless, but the forest wasn’t tumbling about quite as badly after that. His head still throbbed though. He heard Falconfeather laughing at him, making his fur grow hot under his pelt. It didn’t get any better when Elmshadow padded up and asked if he had forgotten trees go up.
Lashing his tail at the burrow beneath the tree, he growled, “I was about to have that rabbit when it went into that hole under the tree.” For a moment his eyes lingered on the burrow, contemplating trying to dig the rabbit out. But he knew better. One of the things an apprentice was first taught was to never follow an animal into its burrow, predator or not. It gave too much opportunity for a warrior to be bitten badly, and he wasn’t about to be the one to find out just how sharp a rabbit’s teeth could be. He’d leave that knowledge to WindClan. Shaking himself once more, he found his balance again and looked away from both warriors. “I’m going to go look for something over there,” he grumbled, slinking off deeper into the pines. He had enough of rabbit hunting today. Once he was a significant distance from Falconfeather and Elmshadow, he opened his mouth to drink in the scents of the forest. A mouse was snuffling around the base of a tree. Though a bit put off by the fact it was close to a tree, Loonfeather distributed all his weight evenly across his paws and moved lightly until he was able to spring on the mouse. It barely had time to blink before he was on it, giving it a swift bite to the neck to end its life. At least he had caught one thing out here. (These two aren't gonna let him live this down easily, are they? lol) @Ravensong @Pheasantflight |
Re: Sky Glade
@Ravensong @Zesha (Never.) Falconfeather snorted at Loonfeathers excuse and turned back towards the forest. She could see the pile of dirt that marked the place where her prey had been dropped, but nothing else was quite observable. She padded back into the pines, tabby fur blending into the shadows and undergrowth. She hadn't laughed that hard in moons, no, hadn't laughed in moons. Not since Frostpaw died, since she disappeared from Shadowclan and reawoke in Starclan, Falconfeather hadn't been able to laugh. It was a stupid thought, the idea that someone running into a tree could be her laugh. Really, it was. She opened her maw, scents leaking out of the forest and wreathing around her. Falconfeathers head tilted towards the side and her gaze locked onto a frog hopping through the ground. She narrowed her eyes and crept forward, a paw stepped on a twig and the frog hopped off. She gave chase, but lost it after a few second, it seemingly disapeared. That must have been how Loonfeather felt shortly before he collided with the tree. Brown fur bristled as her paws picked up the trembling of a mouse. She ran to the side and caught the mouse as it burst out of its burrow and across the ground. Falconfeather raced forwards and bit its neck, killing it quickly. She smirked and looked up. It had been a pretty good haul today, she was ready to head back. Two mice and a blackbird. It was true that prey in different territories was special. SHe wasn't sure how Shadowclan would react to mice. "Ready to go?" SHe looked up at Elmshadow and looked around for Loonfeather as she walked back to the upturned dirt that marked where she had buried the rest of her prey. |
Re: Sky Glade
**Elmshadow** Elmshadow's eye brows rose in mild interest. It was strange to hear clanmates talking about catching rabbits. The Sky Glade felt to Elmshadow a wasted stretch of land; the taste of rabbit didn't even sound particularly appealing, all stringy and wiry as they appeared. The battle was worth the statement to Windclan but little else. And to believe Loonfeather almost caught the rabbit nearly made Elmshadow laugh. He turned away as Loonfeather slunk off to nurse his injured pride with different prey and returned to his lizard and black bird. He searched the area for signs of more prey and soon picked up the scent of another lizard. It wasn't a particular hot day but the sun was warm so the lizard had perched itself on a rock in a patch of sunlight. He crouched down and stalked silently over the ground. The lizard twitched and pushed its body off the rock. Elmshadow froze until it lowered its body back down to the warmth of the rock. Then he bunched his muscles and sprang, landing both forepaws on the lizard's body, cracking its spine between his teeth before it even had time to realize it was in danger. He carried it back to his catch pile and dropped it as Falconfeather's eyes met his and suggested returning to camp. Elmshadow couldn't smell any more obvious nearby prey anymore anyways so he nodded. Leaning down, he gathered his black bird and lizards and prepared to head back to camp as soon as Loonfeather joined them. (Who's reporting?) @Zesha @Pheasantflight |
Re: Sky Glade
Since the day was getting on and he was sure Dawnstar would want a report sooner rather than later, he picked up his single catch of a mouse and trudged over the Elmshadow and Falconfeather, nodding to them to indicate he was ready to head back. He had no desire to mention the tree incident, but he was sure someone would.

Re: Sky Glade
His sky-blue gaze swept over the open place as Shadestorm stalked forward. All of his deputy duties were done for the time being and the large tabby had dissuaded to impress the kits a little, and what better way to do that than giving them as taste of bunny-blood, literally. |
Re: Sky Glade
Raventooth looked over the patch of newly acquired territory and let out a purr deep in his throat. He was proud of his clan for their strength in taking what was theirs, those mangy rabbits were nothing compared to the powerful warriors of Shadowclan. He wasn't expected to hunt anymore, as an elder his life was comfy, too comfy. Many of the other elders didn't leave the camp but he refused to let his bones get too stiff from lounging around all day. He would do anything to stay young, though he was far from it. He glanced over and saw Shadestorm, a proud smile appearing across his face. It made him want to hunt, sure his body wasn't young anymore, and the rabbits around here ran too fast for him to bother to chase, but he was sure if he wandered back to familiar territory that he could manage to find something.

Re: Sky Glade
Normally he wouldn't have missed whatever specktacle had happened at the Gathering, though by the murmurs of the cats who had gone Grimhound found that his interest was piqued. There was also the task of acquainting his long time partner-in-rather-heinous-crimes with Clan life and report to Dawnstar - so the hound decided to knock out two birds with one stone. |
Re: Sky Glade
As the two cats stepped out from the pines, Addersnow immediately noticed the uneven spread of scents covering the patch of land. While it smelled undeniably of ShadowClan, another older scent still lingered underneath. It was certainly from cats, but it was still distinct in its own weird way. Ice blue eyes sharply swept over the moor ahead of them, taking in every detail she could and storing it away in her mind. Even from the distance from which she stood, she could still just barely make out the dips and shadows of several rabbit dens' openings, dotted around the flat, open area.
Turning to glance briefly at Grimhound as he spoke, she let out a small hum as she pondered the question- which honestly seemed a bit more like an open ended statement to her. While the idea of clan life was certainly different from the unorganized life she previously held, a lot of it was also shockingly similar. "Well, it is quite strange, what with the established hierarchy the clans have, but I'm still not sure as to whether this is a good or bad sort of different" she mused, her white-tipped tail coming to rest lightly on the ground, "Most of the cats making up the clan, however, seem almost identical to the sort we would run into before joining. They either have no spine whatsoever, or they simply dont have enough skill to back up their petty words. Sometimes it even seems to be a mix of both. The only exception I've seen to that thus-far is Dawnstar. Well, and you, I guess. Still, its not like I've been going out of my way to weed out the strong from the sea of weak" her voice gained a light teasing tone to it near the end, before dropping off again into its normal indifferent tone. // @spade |
Re: Sky Glade
There was a lot of truth to what Addersnow said, and as Grimhound thought back to their myriad of past escapades it had been fairly obvious that a large percentage of them lacked any individuality and didn't really even know how to survive. It was something he had been taught early on, and his companion had as well. Perhaps that's where the bond had started - the fact that Addersnow wasn't just another dainty molly without a clue as to how to survive. |
Re: Sky Glade
Addersnow couldnt help but let out a small snort of laughter at his remark. Her? Having a temper? Never. Sure, she may have killed some cats here and there because they pissed her off, but wouldnt others do the same? Still, like he implied, she didnt really go on blind murderous rampages when she was upset - at least, not that often. Right from the beginning, she could already tell Dawnstar would be one to have a very destructive temper though. "Did I, now? Well, no wonder you seem to like her so much. In fact, I myself even noticed our similarities upon meeting her for the first time" The molly grinned lightly, shifting her weight slightly to the side, "For the entirety of my 'initiation', as she called it, she seemed to be constantly irritated and on the verge of attacking. Unfortunately, though, that never happened" she clicked her tongue as she finished speaking, a small disappointed sigh leaving her.
Unsurprisingly, the tortie was still a bit peeved about the lack of a proper test in order to get into the clan. Sure, there was the chance of getting a couple cuts if she had happened to annoy the leader a bit, but where was the risk in that? Where was the rush of adrenaline, the threat of death if you so much as made a single mistake? Addersnow lived for the rush she got from situations where it was life and death, and a simple talk over a nice snake meal didn't satisfy that gluttonous side of her in the slightest. A real, all-out fight, though, would have given her that desired feeling and more. But, alas, that has still yet to happen. She directed her attention to him once again as he continued speaking, peering at him from the corner of her eye. Meeting his amber gaze, she turned to face him and leaned her head closer, staring up at the larger tom with a fake smug grin, "and what if I did?" she questioned with a raised brow. While her voice was entirely serious, she trusted that he would still be able to see through it. While it had very much been a viable option, weaseling her way in just wasn't her style. Leaning back into her original position, her face fell back to its normal expression, "Frankly, I'm not surprised at all" she mused, lightly shaking her head. "It was only a matter of time until you managed to gain some sort of influence over the clan" The next comment, however, was much more interesting. Well, that certainly did open up quite a few opportunities. Feigning a look of innocence, she tilted her head to the side with a large grin almost matching Grimhounds growing on her maw, "Oh? What exactly do you have in mind? [ @spooky spade ] |

| Sandpaw of Shadowclan | Sandpaw nodded, and went with the patrol to Sky Glade, he was, more than a bit slow, but, agh no excuses just, ugh. His head was racing with anxious thoughts again, so it was hard to concentrate on much going on, which was half the reason he didn't say a word, and just, was silent. | @seeingstars @Count Mangula [Sorry for this being so late, a lot happened this week so I didn't really focus on WCO much] |
Re: Sky Glade
@Finnoween
Nightfoot trotted up into the heathery glade, tail twitching. The surrounding area made the kinds of hunting limited; with less tree cover and more high, windy moors, most prey would see a cat from a mile away. Which left endurance hunting; quick, miserably hard chases, the sort of thing that wreaked havoc on his leg. That was alright. He didn't need to be good at it, he just need to show Buzzardpaw how to be good at it, and luckily he knew the basics. He'd been really good at chases before his leg injury. There were just some things that... physically weren't possible for him anymore. "C'mere, Buzzardpaw," he called. He waited for his apprentice to catch up and sat, tail curled over his paws. "What do you know about hunting rabbits?" |

It took off but Stagnight was right behind it, before it managed to dip into it's den the Shadowclan warrior had managed to snag the smaller creature with his claws. He quickly and cleanly killed it before padding back to his patrol "I expect you both to catch something, Shadowclan has many mouths to feed" He said firmly, looking between the two. |

Nightfoot shrugs one long, bony shoulder. "Great! Well, you'll have fun with this. You'll be better than me at it with no work at all. Here... crouch down..." Nightfoot lowered himself into the grass. He didn't bother to get into a strong crouch, instead choosing to lie almost on his side, tail twitching. "Hunting rabbits starts the same as hunting anything else," he meows, softly. "Keeping close to the ground and creeping as much as you can. The tricky part is chasing them, because they inevitably hear you before you're close enough to pounce unless you're really lucky." "When you're chasing them," he continues. "It's tempting to sprint all out. Don't. Rabbits are fast, but their best shot at escaping you is their turns; they can change direction very quickly. Keep yourself tight and use your tail. You don't need to turn as well as they do, just well enough to keep on them. Make sense?" |

Puffinpaw
_____________ Puffinpaw was again, as always, bored. He needed something to do damn it! Training was always fun.. when he could actually get ahold of Poisonpetal. That cat was so busy sometimes and Puffinpaw couldn't stand it. He decided to visit another area he hadn't cared to in a while. The sky glade, it seemed like a nice area so he made his way over.. without a warrior. He'd be fineee.. hopefully. As he made it over, the cold started to get to him. His short fur was not made for this kind of weather but he pushed through it till he hit this weirdly large tree. He found it the PERFECT spot to do what he wanted to do in the first place, sleep. As a breeze hit him, it felt nicer than just raw cold so he stayed a while, enjoying himself. [please don't reply! <3] |

@poisoned poppy
(Moved 2 the glade :) Bounceberry walked with Brackenfire in silence- he kept his head hung for most of the trek out to the glade. It was miraculous how he wasn't constantly tripping over himself with those long, spindly legs of his. He would occasionally raise his head to look behind him, or in the direction of a small noise such as the rustling of leaves or rocks. When they approached the glade, Bouncepaw sat squarely in the center. Basking was difficult as it continued to near leafbare, but he tried to make do, "You know, D-Dawnstar is actually stupid." he chattered, "Boneheadedness and muscle aren't, i-intelligence. She's going to get herself killed, and it will be well d-deserved." |
Re: Sky Glade
:heartbounce: - @Fletcher
The walk to the glade was silent, like neither of them knew what to say to each other. Which was fine, Brackenfire felt like they could still enjoy each other´s company without talking. But surely, the silence would be broken. Eventually. She cast a side glance to him, making sure she stayed at stride with him, instead of pulling ahead like she usually did during walks. As they entered the glade, she sat beside him in the center of the clearing, watching him as he seemed to prepare to speak. It seemed like he wanted to continue their discussion about Dawnstar and how horrible she was. Not that she had a problem with it, if it helped him unload all of his stress and all of his issues, then she was perfectly fine with it. She listened to his words, nodding a little once he finished. What he said was pretty dead-on, and her yellow eyes trained on his face revealed that he meant everything, too. She waited a moment before replying, wanting to weigh her words well. "Yes, that´s true." The she-cat admitted, nodding. "It will catch up to her in the near future, although I can´t say I´m looking forward to that egomaniac of a deputy to take over." Huh. Look at them, slandering the leader and deputy of the Clan they lived in. She preferred Dawnstar over Shadestorm any day, but she wasn´t sure how much better they were. But, she had to agree that Dawnstar was the reason ShadowClan thrived today. She looked down at her paws. "We can´t do anything about it, anyways." Brackenfire almost added how loyal she was to Dawnstar, but that may not go over well with Bounceberry. Her friendship with the medicine cat was stronger that that with the leader, she wasn´t ashamed to admit. Even though Dawnstar was her "mother". "All we can do is be loyal to ourselves and those we love. Those who have done wrong will get what´s coming to them." Her words were, in her opinion, pretty damn right. It seemed like Bounceberry was letting Dawnstar get to him again. The words, the insults, the taunts. She flattened her ears slightly. "You need to stop caring about what she says." She said tartly. "If you really dislike her, you shouldn´t be letting her words do this to you." |
