Vetch is a kittypet owned by a pagan witch. They feel in tune with the natural energies of the earth, and has learned some divination from their owner. They offer tarot readings and other fortune tellings to passers by, and will offer herbs (or catnip) in exchange for tasty morsels.

Vetch padded out through the cat door and stretched luxuriously in the morning sun. The weather was getting colder, but their short yet thick coat kept them warm and cozy. This morning, however, they would have to brush the frost off from the plants in the garden. Frost this soon in the year would likely kill them, and they simply couldn't allow that.

Stretching their jaws in a wide yawn, the gray-and-white chimera cat leapt upon the garden beds and began rubbing their soft pelt against the leaves, removing any frost that might harm them. Today will be a good day, they thought calmly to themself. So it is said, so it will be.

After the frost was brushed off and the sun had risen further, Vetch snatched a mouthful of catnip stems and jumped upon the stone wall that encompassed their house and territory. They placed the leaves gently upon the stone just as the morning light begun to warm the surface, and proceeded with their morning ritual of rolling around in the catnip on the cozy sun-warm rocks. Placing a leaf in their mouth to chew, they took a deep, therapeutic breath in and out.
