Ashkit frolicked around happily. She couldn't remember how long it had been since she died. Twilightstar was the only leader back then who still stood. She clearly remembered when Duskstar, Lionstar, and Icestar ruled. Icestar. The name disgusted her, but Dawnstar was worse. ShadowClan needed to get over her. Ashkit was afraid she would tear her beloved Clan apart, and she wasn't exactly wrong. Sh could have been an apprentice, even a warrior, if those stupid WindClan cats hadn't raided!

Ashkit sighed. If she was a warrior, she would be deputy, and then leader, and the Clans would be saved from the evil within them. But that dream had died with her, unfortunately. Unless magically she was alive again, which she clearly wasn't, than she would never be a warrior. And then came the stupid apprentice, who was acting like a moon old kit. "Ashkit," she introduced warily. Sure, she wanted friends, dead ones like her, but the world had taught her to be careful. "I guess you were an apprentice when you died?"
