Character of the Month (October 2023)
Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos! - x - x - x - x - Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.→ How It Works! ← For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month. Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting. Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win. If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote. He's loyal, willing to attack, and just beautiful. Sure, maybe he's got scars. It's only proving he's powerful. He's always ready. She's amazing, has totally realistic feelings, and just... makes sense as a character. Her shyness is quite interesting, just making sure Cherry has a spot on my COTM nominations today! |

She is just an adorable cat with so much ambition. She may have been through hell and back, but she keeps going, keeps a smile on her face, and never gives up. |

His calm and collected outward appearance and his unwavering love for his kits is so lovely to see and every time he posts I get so excited to see what he's up to !! |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: ThunderClan Why should this character be featured?: What. A. Doll. Leafpaw is such an impressive character, during the fox attack she was incredibly brave and was a major key in all the cats coming home. Her development from kithood was absolutely marvelous and I'm so so proud to see the cat she's grown into. Leafy writes her so well, and she's the perfect older sister but the mom-like older sister isn't her whole personality, if that makes sense? Like there's so much depth to her and she's even a little bit of a stinker sometimes and can be such a firecracker and the way Leaf is so multi-dimensional always makes her a fun read and I can't want to see where she goes in the future! Character Name [mention user]: Lioncrest @Jayvines Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: ThunderClan Why should this character be featured?: When it comes to looking for an exciting, enjoyable character to read, Lioncrest is the total package. He's written in such a way that he actually feels like he could be a real character, and the way he speaks and thinks is so different from a lot of other cats on WCO and it's just so refreshing. A true gentleman but also a very good, loyal warrior with a strong code of morals, Lioncrest will always be a cat that I will enjoy reading! |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: thunderclan Why should this character be featured?: i will not rest until sparrow gets the love she deserves! sparrowfur is so strong of body and mind. it's been so interesting to see her go back and forth with herself in the midst of her consciousness and really get a good look at the inside. a cheerful ball of energy with a bit of self doubt? count me in! <3 she's so brave and devoted and I will never get over her and yarrow Character Name [mention user]: cherryswirl @Dust Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: riverclan Why should this character be featured?: cherry is definitely one of my favorite characters to read right now. i haven't had a chance to interact with her much (yet) but I am so incredibly excited for what she has to store as she grows and develops! driven and kind, she's such a pawsitive force <3 |

She is so sweet but yet so.. so.. what are the words? Let’s just say she brightens up May Day whenever I see her. She is pure amazingness, justice, and kindness crammed into one small body |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: Thunderclan Why should this character be featured?: I love this little gal, she is honestly so fun to read, she feels like a real character and acts like an actual child, you absolutely tell that Redkit is based on experience or is from someone who is close to someone from experience with children. Redkit is written wonderfully and I am always excited to read her posts and most of the time they end up with me wanting more of her. Poppy is an excellent writer and it shows in Redkit, who is just trying to make it through the world and exploring it at every turn, good or bad side showing. |

Why should this character be featured?: This character is a really fun to roleplay with as Ivorypaw can be a dramatic but sweet she-cat who is always getting on her mentors nerves! Ivorypaw is an apprentice who will put her mind to do anything she wants and can be really energetic and fun! |
