Burrclan, of the Very Short Cats
 
A strange clan of pygmies who grow no larger than a newborn kit, even fully grown.
They must survive in a world where mice require at least two cats to take down and can feed many; where to climb a sapling requires great skill and endurance; where a tiny stream is as great as a river.

Firefang pushed her way through the stalks of grass that made up the entrance tunnel and into the clearing, shaking out her fur. She looked around for the deputy, exited by her discovery of what she believed to be a mouse nest. "Where's Braveshadow?"

Lilypaw was padding out of the apprentice's den towards Seedwhisker. "I dunno," she mewed. "Is he still asleep?"

"I don't think so," Seedwhisker said. "The deputy shouldn't sleep this late."

Cricketleap glanced at Firefang from his meal of a large grasshopper. "Why d'ya want him?" he asked as he crunched through a leg.

Firefang grinned. "I believe I found a mouse's brood nest." That got their attention. While a mouse itself could feed several cats, a nest of young mice was easy prey and a rare treat; the tender younglings could feed the entire clan, elders and kits included. "Now, where's Braveshadow?" @Mousy

Dawnpaw woke up, stretching. She walked out of the medicine den and stared at Fireleaf for a bit before quickly trotting kver. "Whats going on? Is some cat hurt?"

(@Hopekit Does Goldenleaf need a mate? I can make one if you'd like. @Rivergold just saying you put Dawnpaw as Dovepaw X3)

"What's all the fuss about?" Starstar mewed as she slowly stepped out of her den. "Can't a cat get any peace and quiet around here?" The leader grumbled under her breath. "Who are you looking for? Is anybody injured? Should I be aware of something?" Starstar asked, full of questions she wanted to ask. Wait a second... I'm the leader of this Clan.... I should be the first or second person aware of what's happening. Braveshadow and I don't know about this.....

(Goldenleaf does indeed need a mate, but if she doesn't get one I have a story in mind xD. You don't have to make one but if you do you're an amazing potato :D )

Cricketpaw walked out of the apprintice den,clumsily stumbling over her own paws.She got up and shook the dust out of her fur,very embarrassed. She walked over to the fresh kill pile and dragged a mouse down to eat.
