Goslingpaw had been moping here since she had been executed by Lionstar all those moon-cycles ago, and she was beginning to grow really, really sick of prowling around in this dank ass forest.


Tonight wasn't too peculiar. Just like any other day in the Place of No Stars — antagonizing the other residents, seeing what new stupid Clan cats wanted to be trained, hunting for crow-food, et cetera. It was a never-ending cycle, so she was admittedly a little glad when she spotted something just slightly unusual.

Two bleak orbs staring out at her from the darkness.

Staring directly back, Goslingpaw stood and shook out her coat, deciding to pad closer to the red-furred kit.

"What's up with you?" she spoke, painfully blunt.

Goslingpaw scoffed. This kitten was pathetic.

"Power?" she echoed, erupting into a short, barking fit of laughter. Then, her expression hardened like stone and she took a seat back on her haunches, wrapping her sleek tail around her paws. "Kit, I have more power than any other cat around these territories."

She lifted a paw to pick at the fang earring she wore, gritting her fangs. They were sharp and polished, and her glossy coat shone under the scarlet moonlight. There was no way this kit could possibly have anything to offer her that she didn't already have.

Assessing him, Goslingpaw narrowed her eyes and waited for a response.
