"Those filthy RiverClanners!"

Ottersplash scowled, sitting in her makeshift of a den. She was far enough away from clan territory that she wouldn't be found by the clans, but close enough that she could still return to the clans and do as she pleased. Except she couldn't really do what she pleased. It was far too dangerous to go into the clans territory, so she had been hiding out here, hiding in solitude.

She growled. "How am I ever going to continue with my plans if I can't even step paw in the clans territory!" she spat. Someone started approaching Ottersplash without her realizing, she just kept scratching lines into the dirt and grumbling to herself, completely unaware.

(I have a plan for this, basically, I just need someone to help Otter realize what she did, cus she's blinded by anger and hate right now, and she doesn't really even know what she did. Otter is . . . a good cat at heart, but she just can't get over an incident that happened in her past, which I won't be going over. But anyways, just give me someone brave enough to confront Otter about it, and help her! Otter also won't attack your charrie!)

Re: The Territory of an Otter [OPEN!]

daniel, or danny, as his folk called him when they cooed and awed at the young tom, had never been this far away from 'home', unfamiliar scents made him keep going, past the familiar houses and cars and even the fields leading up to the forest. further and further into the forest, the sun had already passed its peak and was now slowly descending down the horizon when the black tom slipped through a bush and into a small clearing, quiet paws carrying him closer towards the unmistakable scent of cat. the muffled voice of a she-cat made him pause and listen, before approaching further, bi coloured eyes scanned the clearing, and while the thought of danger didnt cross his mind once before he was wondering how badly this could go.

Ottersplash still didn't notice that a cat was approaching her. She just kept putting claw marks into the ground, and growling to herself. "I can't go anywhere near clan territory because I'll be killed!" she hissed to herself.

danny approached further, the smell of the she-cat unfamiliar but steadily growing stronger when he mis stepped, and the thin metal tags of his collar clashed in a high ring, and he stilled, grimacing at the sound and the fact that he was exposed and in the open now. what the she cat had been saying was mildly concerning, especially considering his current position.

Ottersplash heard the ring, and turned around sharply. "Who's there" She growled, staring into the undergrowth. "Whoever is there! State your purpose!" She growled again.

he huffed and took a few more steps towards her, "what am i supposed to say? exist?" he snarked, collar tags continuously producing a high pitched clank as he neared at a less careful, faster pace.
"'n i really should be asking you that" he added

Ottersplash continued staring at the cat in front of her, her eyes still narrowed. She didn't really know how to respond to this, but eventually she responded. "T- this is my territory . . am I not allowed to be here or something?" she growled softly. She winced at high pitched sound, and narrowed her eyes further. "What are you- a kittypet or something?"

"'dont see a cat speaking to themselves all alone every day" he shrugged with a wide smile, head cocked to the side in a kind of mock-playfulness. he took a few more steps forward, closing the gap between them to a regular talking distance. the she cats obvious insecurity made it rather easy to fall into this kind of position, push her towards where he wanted her, where he got the high ground.
"a what?" the black tom queried, slight smile remaining despite his apparent lack of knowledge.

Ottersplash sighed, but she still kept looking at the cat through narrowed eyes. She clearly didn't trust him. "Never mind. You wouldn't understand . . ." she muttered. "And the speaking to myself? You probably would be too if you were being threatened with death!" she snapped.

"oh you cant leave a guy hanging like that" the tom chirped, tail flicking behind him in the same playfullness he had displayed just seconds, before as he moved a bit closer towards the she cat. a few more swift steps and he circled her, tail curling around her, "threatened with death! im entrigued" he gasped, a hollow giggle following his statement.

(so sorry for the extremely late reply i got horribly busy and distracted)
