Character of the Month (July 2023)
Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos! - x - x - x - x - Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.→ How It Works! ← For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month. Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting. Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win. If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote. He’s an amazing character with a strange way of thinking and I adore him. He deserves this just as much as everyone else does <3 |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: RiverClan Why should this character be featured?: Ah yes. Springpaw. It's not just her who's amazing, but Leafie is too! Spring has some great roleplaying. You should see some of it, you'll be impressed. I can only imagine if I could do posts like that. They're described well, and not a hefty chunk of stuff either. It's the perfect balance! Character Name [mention user]: Cherrypaw - @CreeperLover649 Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: ThunderClan Why should this character be featured?: Not biased at all, but Cherrypaw is a quiet little thing. She's Dragonflycliff's apprentice. Her posts are short but her personality is quite good. It's not hard to understand either! |

I first encountered this character when she was merely an adoptable put up by teddy. way back when, and Ares has literally taken this character and turned her into one of the most magical, beautiful characters I've ever encountered, and I can't wait to see how she grows! next nom otw! |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: Shadowclan Why should this character be featured?: She has the rank of enforcer, which is pretty awesome. She also has a very short temper compared to some of my cats, and she is surprisingly sadistic- another factor to take into consideration. |

Character Faction: Shadowclan Why should this character be featured?: I absolutely love reading Starrypaws posts. The way she will just happily force her way into being friends with someone/getting adopted by someone. Starrypaw is really a character who is writing herself. I cannot wait to see where Rose takes her :heartbounce: Character Name: Mumblepaw [ @vampire ] Character Faction: Riverclan Why should this character be featured?: Mumblepaw is so silly I love him from giving up his prefix to a new apprentice to his silly ramblings about Hawkstar. Mumblepaw is a great character to read and I always get excited reading their posts. :heartbounce: |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: Windclan Why should this character be featured?: Um, why on earth NOT? Snowybreeze is so well-developed, and his emotions/actions/reactions are always reasonable and consistently in character. Despite not being the most flamboyant of cats his posts are always an absolute joy to read, and his relationship with Berryfrost is so freaking cute!!! :puddled: Alchemist writes him spectacularly, and he's a fantastic presence in Windclan!! |

Character Name [mention user]: Stonepaw @carmen Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: Riverclan Why should this character be featured?: From being chosen as medicine cat to the bonds he has formed from that, Stonepaw is a work of art as a character. He is close with those he cares for, regardless of the position he in. Being a high rank at such a young age, even with his mentor guiding him was quite the undertaking. Carmen offers a new perspective on the path of being a medicine cat with a character so young. It’s remarkable, honestly. From how Stone forms relationships to how he expresses his ideas and thoughts, its amazing, through and through. Character Name [mention user]: Dogpaw @xavier. Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: Shadowclan Why should this character be featured?: Dogpaw, jeez where do I start with him??? Dog is complex, he is devoted to those he finds worth of the time and energy. However his prickly personality can deter others from actually meeting him. His ability to make others fear him and others form an attachment is ability like no other. Being an ElmCougar baby is honestly gives Dog even more of the flare he constantly has. Looks at him from a roleplay standpoint, he is built like like his mother yet has the attitude of his dad. Dog is honestly a change of paste for me to read and my god, it’s a wonderfully crafted one! |

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: WindClan Why should this character be featured?: An amazing cat with courage. She is just perfect as a mentor to my cat, Tigerpaw, and is one of the best cats in WindClan. Just her bravery and loyalty is a great reason why she should be remembered. Character Name [mention user]: Ivysnake @TheNyanCatMinecart Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: StarClan Why should this character be featured?: Originally ShadowClan's medicine cat apprentice, Ivysnake was a loyal and wonderful cat to her Clan. Although her life has been taken from her without her wanting it, she had fought valuably to the death during a herb patrol. While I had little to no roleplays with her, Ivysnake was still a very important character in the Clan's history as the once-destined medicine cat for ShadowClan, previously trained by Elmshadow to do so. Now, she walks among the stars of StarClan, watching her Clan as it grows. |
