Amber and Needle's Barn
 

In a barn not far from WindClan's territory, a large wooden structure that is dusty yet full of plump mice, two cats (both roleplayed by me) live there. (IMPORTANT: This is not a rogue group, just two cats who live with each other.) Amber is ferocious, despite being taken under Needle's care when she was a kit. Needle is calm and kind, knowing some herbs because she was curious about them and taught herself a bit about them - but not enough so that she'd be a medicine cat, obviously.

Just recently, a cat named Marshmallow has joined Needle and Amber. They are roleplayed by ~RooRoo~.

This is open to anybody, but please mention me. I'll post a starter.

Amber was stretched out by the entrance of the barn, her head resting on her front paws. Her striking amber eyes stared ahead at the sunlight filtering through and a bit of dust settled on her nose, causing her to sneeze. Needle, who was relaxing in a pool of sunlight, lifted her head to look at Amber.
"Are you sick?" the brown-and-gray tabby asked anxiously, padding over to the yellowish she-cat.
Amber sighed. "No," she grunted. "It's just the dust; I'm fine. Please, stop fussing over me like I'm a big kit."
Needle's ears flicked. "I just want the best for you," she sighed, sitting down next to Amber. She loomed over the yellow-and-brown she-cat, who was laying down, even though they were the same size in real time.
"So, do you want to talk about anything?" Needle asked.
Amber gave a shrug. "I don't know," she muttered.

Sniffing carefully, Dark padded into the barn. He was hungry, and the barn smelled like mice. Hearing the two she-cat's, he froze, hoping not to be noticed. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Instantly, Amber saw the tom trying to sneak in like an idiot. She and Needle were right at the entrance! Unsheathing her long claws, she leaped right in front of the cat, her claws extending out and her teeth bared. "Who are you?" she spat angrily. Quickly, Needle shoved Amber aside. "Careful," she warned. "This cat might be hungry, or in need of shelter. What is your name?" Amber just sighed, her fur still bristling. Needle was too nice for her.

"I'm Needle, and this is Amber," the tabby replied. "Hello there, Dark. What can we do for you?" Needle asked. Amber sighed. Her friend could be so annoying sometimes. However, before Dark replied, a tortoiseshell came staggering to them, causing them both to turn. Amber saw the blood and her eyes narrowed. Ugh, couldn't they get any peace? Meanwhile, Needle gasped. "Oh my stars! What happened?" she asked, rushing over. "And could I get a name?" Amber rolled her eyes. Was she really going to be stuck with Dark? Glancing over at the tom, she muttered, "Yeah, what do you want, while Needle's fussing over another cat?"

If you don't want me here, I'll leave. Dark mewed, dipping his head. He had no wish to quarrel with these she-cats. @TheNyanCatMinecart @SorrelFang

Needle sniffed her hind leg and flinched. "You'll need some herbs for that," she murmured. "I'll collect them in a moment. And you can stay, Needle. Amber, could you hunt something?"
"I'd be fine if he left," Amber snapped. "And fine... I guess so." She leaped into the barn and quickly caught a mouse before bringing it over to Sorrelfang.
"Take it," she muttered.

"You're welcome," Needle replied while Amber echoed the words in a mutter. Upon hearing the mentions of cats, Amber looked up and squinted. "Why should we know them?" she hissed irritably.
"Maybe they know Dark," Needle suggested. "Let's take care of these two before too many things happen, alright?"

I live alone. Dark mewed, at the mention that the other cat's might know him. I know no other cats. @SorrelFang @TheNyanCatMinecart
