The oak tabby tom looked around the clearing with a smile, then yawned and lied down. What to do, what to do...

His idea from last moon came in his head again and he nodded, ready to release it into the territory.

“Kits gather round!” Oaksky mewed. “I have some stories to tell! You mat not be with the living anymore, but you have a right to still listen to the stories that the elders would normally tell you!”

He laid back, waiting for the kits.

Oaksky looked at the two kits that joined him. His eyes sparkled slightly. “Alright then. Well, I might not be as good as the elders but I’ll sure give it a shot!” he chuckled.

“Hm... well, back as an apprentice I went on many adventures. I think you might be interested in the time I found a fox.”

Kits love adventure.

“Well, I was on a patrol with my best friend and our mentors. Another warrior came with us. We were passing the ShadowClan border when-“

He looked between the kits eagerly. “... when we caught sight of what appeared to be a fox, from a tree in front of us!”

Oaksky chuckled at the kits. “All in good time. In fear that the fox would get away and try to lose us, me and my best friend were placed near the river.”

He shuddered a little. “That river would be my deathplace someday...”

He shook his head, half-heartedly. “Anyway! Not really much was happening, so my best friend decided to go check up on our mentors. However, as soon as he was gone, I heard something in the bushes nearby! And the fox jumped out, trying to get past the river!”

“My instincts kicked in, and I managed to climb onto it, trying to keep my balance. I was barely hanging on. And then I managed to claw at it! It skidded and got knocked over!”
