ShadowClan Leader: "Whelp, don't do that, Skunktail. That's Dawnstar. She's our alpha. And Dawnstar will be opening the pens sooner than you think!

Skunktail: "Right. I'm sorry I was so sloppy about opening the pens, eh? And a little late."

ShadowClan Leader: "Don't worry about it, Skunktail. There are two others who will come in before Dawnstar. Once the shadows close, Dawnstar will take them out and you'll be the first to do it.

Now get back, Skunktail. Come see what Dawnstar wants to see."

Skunktail takes Dawnstar to see the first guards of Dawnstar's territory, Dawnstar of ShadowClan.

Dawnstar: "Hey, Skunktail, I have to go out and see these guards, eh? I have to make sure they are up to the exact protocols, and I'll see what they need to open the pens. They will be opening soon. There should be only two guards. I don't want you to miss the first kill, so don't do that, Dawnstar."

Dawnstar quickly walks off with Skunktail chasing after her. Dawnstar is opening the gate and opening the pens in front of her.

"WHAT?" Leapinglight asked.

"No!" Bluekit said.

"NO!" Skylight shouted.

"Calm down Skylight!" Bluekit said, "We can't help him if he doesn't know what's going on!"

"I'm sure he'd rather have help than to be kept in the dark." Skylight said. "But it will make him happier if he has some time to get used to having someone in the family now."

"I don't want to upset him. I'll stay with him and try to keep him happy as much as I can."

Skylight gave Skyclan a shaky smile. She knelt and kissed Skykit's forehead.

"I love you Bluekit. Take care of Skyclan."

"Love you too."

"WOW." Leapinglight gasped, "This is the best news I've ever heard. The one thing I'm worried about is Bluekit's reaction."

"He's going to be okay." Skykit said, "Just take care of him Skylight. Don't let him out of your sight."

"I'll try."

Skyclan flew home to their Windydandelion's home. It felt good to be back home in Skyclan. Skyheart pounded on the door.

"Come on in Skyheart!" Skyclan shouted.

Skunktails worried
The meadow was in a shambles, torn and trampled by an unseen hand. No one even dared to look. Dawnstar gazed out onto the fields and breathed a sigh of relief. Their leader was okay. The youngsters were out fighting some horrible horde of wildcats, and ShadowClan did not even seem to notice the damage the SkyClan camp had suffered. She just smiled. "As a leader, you are proud of your Clan. As a leader, you are very proud of your Clan. As a leader, you know that you need to have some warriors who will help out in ShadowClan's time of need. What if I told you that a Clan who was not yet born was willing to help?"

Shadowstar waited, and Shadowclan wondered what was going to happen. The Clan leader was looking at a skunky that was hopping at a distance of about a foot away from him, and the shadowcat wasn't looking at the clan leader, but looking down at a young skunktail, skunktail that was skunk.

Wisteriawhisper sighed as they sat down for dinner. How she wished the elders could visit them once more. There was so much to learn. The elders were clever; but their warnings and lectures were still too painful for Riverclan. Their leader, Shadowmoon, had sent some healing water along with the food. It tasted sour, yet sweet at the same time. How Riverclan could eat anything at all was beyond her. And their leader was worrying about them. She was missing her smallpaws. She missed the treats she would have. But she had learned a lot from her teacher and she would keep on learning. She would heal the healing waters, for she knew that their leader was worried. And Riverclan would heal themselves, and Riverclan could heal everyone. She smiled to herself as she closed her eyes. She hoped she had a warm sunny day. And she hoped she had a leader who was wise.

Minymeighki had trouble falling asleep. There was so much to do. Tinypaw was sad, missing her mother. They had not seen their leader's laces yet. And when she snuck into

Why is that Riverclan?

I hope Riverclan doesn't kill this, it's the first thing I have painted on a tiny pelt that could stand up to fire.

Meadowlarke Riverclan is the smallest clan in the RiverClan Circle of the Thunder. They were named by the leader of the RiverClan Circle, Clover, after she saw a rainbow at her riverbank during a rainbow spell she was trying to cast.

Deadblaze coughed hard
He fell into a sitting position with his paws on his face. The echoes from Leapinglight’s attack made the wolf sick.

Spooky raced around the carcass and the others were casting spells and in the midst of the fight. Leapinglight continued her attack on Skyclan, killing and terrifying Skyclan.

Snarls and howls erupted from the grasses, heaving and leaping up into the air, twisting and turning their bodies to take the many leaping shadows.

Bluekit just sat in the grass and cried. Love squeezed his blue-furred back.

“All will be fine now. We will see deadblaze,” Love said softly and Leapinglight stilled with a shock of her prey.

The last of the screeches sounded and Leapinglight suddenly began to soar into the night sky. Spooky howled in anger. The sun soon came out into the glade.

This story was inspired by Halloween night a year ago.
