my first meditation after doing quads:

I had the ultimate feel of an inside/outside pet she-cat, sort of the rebel yet caring gal, possibly mates w/ a cat in the neighborhood, and I had the feel of a bengal.

Essentially, therians aren't entirely human. Sometimes, they experience shifts, which is a change of mindset from human to animal. A quick note is that being a therian is identifying AS an animal, not identifying WITH an animal.

Okay, I'm not a therian, but I am a furry…so I'll just clear this up: what is fury compared to a therian? A furry is someone who has an interest in animals with human characteristics (think Zootopia and Sonic the Hedgehog), while therians believe they have some spiritual connection to a type of animal. Furries are also interested in art of anthropomorphic animals, and many have alter furry egoes, called fursonas. In addition, therians think that being a therian is not a choice; rather a thing they are born with.
