Falconfeather snorted at Loonfeathers excuse and turned back towards the forest. She could see the pile of dirt that marked the place where her prey had been dropped, but nothing else was quite observable. She padded back into the pines, tabby fur blending into the shadows and undergrowth. She hadn't laughed that hard in moons, no, hadn't laughed in moons. Not since Frostpaw died, since she disappeared from Shadowclan and reawoke in Starclan, Falconfeather hadn't been able to laugh. It was a stupid thought, the idea that someone running into a tree could be her laugh. Really, it was.

She opened her maw, scents leaking out of the forest and wreathing around her. Falconfeathers head tilted towards the side and her gaze locked onto a frog hopping through the ground. She narrowed her eyes and crept forward, a paw stepped on a twig and the frog hopped off. She gave chase, but lost it after a few second, it seemingly disapeared. That must have been how Loonfeather felt shortly before he collided with the tree.

Brown fur bristled as her paws picked up the trembling of a mouse. She ran to the side and caught the mouse as it burst out of its burrow and across the ground. Falconfeather raced forwards and bit its neck, killing it quickly. She smirked and looked up. It had been a pretty good haul today, she was ready to head back. Two mice and a blackbird. It was true that prey in different territories was special. SHe wasn't sure how Shadowclan would react to mice. "Ready to go?" SHe looked up at Elmshadow and looked around for Loonfeather as she walked back to the upturned dirt that marked where she had buried the rest of her prey.
