It was Batpaw's first gathering. Moons of muted excitement in the nursery all led up to this moment. And honestly? Extremely underwhelming. Her black tail; tucked neatly over her paws, twitched irritably as she noted only Windclan had shown up to meet Riverclan. She wasn't quite sure what she was expecting, but she knew all the clans were supposed to show up to these things. Still, the young apprentice was quiet and respectable as Twilightstar spoke. No need to let her annoyance show.
That was until the circus strolled in an hour late, smug grins plastered on their painted faces. Batpaw's eyes widened as she watched the Thunderclan apprentices embarrass themselves. Shouting, climbing, throwing things. All stuff she remembered doing as a
kit.
Her eye roll was accompanied by a loud scoff, loud enough to hopefully be heard over all the ruckus.
"This is truly pathetic." Her comment was hurled at the nearest Thunderclan apprentice.
