Hello! ( @x ghostie ) and I have received approval for a large-scale battle between RiverClan and ShadowClan. We’ll need several people willing to fill certain roles for this plot, as well as cats to sign up as general participants! In order to allow ShadowClan a chance to recover from their recent battle with ThunderClan, and for Stonepaw to get sufficiently far in his training, this battle will not begin until around late March, tentatively.

Here is the plot:

 

So a RiverClan apprentice or young warrior crosses the ShadowClan border, and is caught by (SHC 1). A fight breaks out, and the RC cat is killed. Shadowfur and (SHC 2) show up, with Wormbite showing up right after. Shadowfur and (SHC 2) defend (SHC 1), but Wormbite doesn’t buy their claims that the RC cat started it. In a rage, Wormbite attacks.

A RiverClan patrol soon comes to back him up, followed by a small SHC patrol. Three SHC warriors break off from the battle and chase an RC cat into RC territory. They are spotted by another RC cat, who also hears the screeching of battle in the distance. They find a large group (~10) of RC cats near camp, and alert them. They go to join the battle, picking up a few more RC cats on the way. The three SHC cats are lost, and they spot the coming RC battle party. They decide to split up to try to ensure one of them finds their way back to the battle to warn the SHC cats.

One of them does, and Shadowfur sends a messenger back to alert Dawnstar and get reinforcements, since they’re being overwhelmed. On their way back to camp, the messenger finds a trio of SHC cats and sends them to help. The messenger arrives back at camp and alerts Dawnstar.

Now, on to the roles! To allow as many members as possible the chance to participate, each member will be limited to one main part and one backup part. Backups will only be called upon if the person responsible for that role doesn’t show or pulls out unexpectedly and last minute.

 

SHC 1: Finds (RC 1) crossing the border and attacks. Kills the RC cat. Must be a strong, trained fighter. No apprentices. BACKUP NEEDED

RC 1: Crosses the border and is killed. Should be an apprentice or a young warrior. TAKEN

SHC 2: Finds (SHC 1) after the murder. Defends them against Wormbite. Should be a talented, strong fighter with fierce loyalty to their Clan and/or a hatred of RiverClan. No apprentices. TAKEN, BACKUP NEEDED

SHC 3, 4, & 5: Chase (RC 2) into RC territory. Only one of them will find their way back to the border; the other two will remain lost until long after the battle has ended. Should be strong, capable fighters. Please keep in mind that your cat may face punishment from Dawnstar for these actions! No apprentices.

RC 2: Is chased by the three ShadowClan cats into their territory. Will eventually be saved by other RC cats. CLOSED

RC 3: Spots the three trespassers and overhears battle in the distance. Runs to get reinforcements. CLOSED

RC 4 & 5: Save RC 2 from the three cats chasing them. BACKUP FOR 5 NEEDED

SHC 6: Is sent by Shadowfur to fetch reinforcements. Should be a strong, capable fighter. No apprentices. BACKUP NEEDED

In addition to these roles, there will be cats who will participate as general fighters. You may opt to have your cat(s) join the first SHC backup patrol, the first RC backup patrol, the main RC reinforcements patrol, the group of cats picked up along the way to join the reinforcement party, the trio of SHC reinforcements, and/or the main SHC reinforcement party. Keep in mind that some of these spots will be taken up by main role cats.

Since ShadowClan is going to be badly outnumbered at one point until reinforcements arrive, only strong, experienced fighters will be considered for the first SHC backup patrol and the trio of reinforcements. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make much sense for them to be able to hold off RC until reinforcements arrive.

As cats are accepted, they will be listed below. Feel free to reach out to other participants to set up battle partners and any mini plots you wish to have! If you wish to involve your cat in a different way with this plot, please reach out to me or ghostie.
