Brief Description:
A large, bulky, soft and thick-furred, sleek, mottled, classic-tabby-striped, dark ginger-and-black tortoiseshell tabby chimera tom with heterochromia. He has a long and somewhat fluffy tail, a scruffy mane, a solid dark ginger right forepaw, and the right half of his face is dark ginger tabby with a blue eye, and the left is black with an amber eye. His tail is primarily black with small, mottled, dark ginger tabby patches and a solid, dark ginger tip. While most of his ginger tabby fur is dark, there are some lighter colored ones, such as around his belly, throat, and muzzle. He has tall, tufted ears, long and strong legs, strong haunches, large paws, and a black nose.

Overview:
Marigoldtail is a timid and easily influenced warrior, having not had a great childhood while growing up and, as such, wanting to please others around him or be left alone. He's unaggressive, weak-willed, naive, and sheepish, and if he's being bullied/mocked, it is very unlikely that he will stand up for himself. He's anxious at times, indecisive, gullible, cautious, and hesitant to enter conflicts, instead preferring to resolve things peacefully or to leave it up to others to decide and resolve it for him. Marigoldtail is mellow, modest, and guileless, and is usually seen as a calm and easy cat to approach, while also never one to brag or be rude to others. He's hesitant to do things that have risks, especially big ones that involve hurting others, and refuses to hurt others unless absolutely necessary. He's a breezy guy and a doof, often making a fool of himself and seen at times as adorable, which more often than not gets him flustered. Marigoldtail is an amiable, caring, and considerate tom, always willing to help others and make friends with anyone, regardless of origin or age. He's earnest and loyal, a hard worker for his Clan, and is well-known to be a respectful and loyal warrior. His sympathetic nature makes him a prime cat to vent to, which he is always happy to do, and he does his best to help his Clan as much as he can. So, despite his weaker will and shy personality, Marigoldtail is a trustworthy and honest warrior who is always willing to help.

BIO:
Kithood/Growing Up:
Marigoldtail was born as a loner named Marigold alongside his brother, Nero, and his sister, Ginger, to two loners, Lia and Flame, born as their only kits. While Flame had always wanted to be a father and was eager to have kits, Lia was less than enthusiastic to have kits. She never seemed to enjoy having to take care of the kits, in contrast to Flame's constant hovering over the kits to make sure they were alright. The moment the trio were weaned, Lia left in the dead of night, leaving Flame to raise Marigold and his siblings by himself. While holding a grudge against Lia, as she had always promised to be there with him no matter what, Flame dedicated himself to raising the trio, though it wasn't easy. Both Nero and Ginger disliked Flame, blaming him for Lia leaving them and refusing to bond with him, while Marigold grew a close bond with his father, happy to at least have one parent still around while devastated to lose his mother, even if she knew she was neglectful to him and his siblings. Due to his willingness to grow close to Flame, Nero and Ginger came to also resent Marigold, rarely interacting with him or being cruel to him. Eventually, both of them left to find Lia, leaving Flame and Marigold by themselves. Flame, knowing they disliked him but wanting to raise and care for them regardless, was distraught by their disappearance, and as was Marigold, leaving him to wonder for the rest of his life if he should have done something different, or if he would've ever had a happy family.
Loner/Apprenticeship:
Shortly after Nero and Ginger left, Flame raised Marigold alone, teaching him everything he could about being a loner, teaching him to hunt, fight, and survive. While he taught him such things, Flame was more than willing to play with his son, often taking him to look at flowers or play-fighting with him. He knew full well that his son would forever suffer from not having a happy family, but Flame refused to not give his son some happiness, no matter how little he could do it. Despite not being able to do much to make it up to his son, Marigold knew that Flame cared for him, and held his father in high respect due to it. The duo were very close, always traveling over time… until one day, Flame passed away from a heart attack in his sleep, leaving Marigold distraught over his death. The chimera tortoiseshell tom buried his father and continued to travel, trying to find his siblings, and eventually coming across RedwoodClan. He was eager to join, as he never wanted to be alone again, and was renamed to Marigoldpaw. His mentor was [MENTOR], who acted as an older sibling for him, one he'd never had. Unlike himself and his siblings, Marigoldpaw's mentor was a confident and bold cat, being Marigoldpaw's main influence to open up and become braver the more time he spent with them. Admittedly, due to his age and the knowledge Flame passed to him, Marigoldpaw didn't spend too much time as an apprentice, but he always treasured his time with [MENTOR], holding them in the same regard as his father, Flame.
Warrior:
After some time, Marigoldpaw was granted his warrior name, now known as Marigoldtail. Though he is a warrior, he keeps a close bond with [MENTOR], often speaking with them as friends while also looking to make more friends. However, while alone and in private, Marigoldtail continued to miss his family, and wonders if he'll ever have his own happy family some day…
