She was confident, she was direct. Daisypool couldn't get a full read on the she-cat who walked into the covenant's grounds next. The lilac-point she-cat stretched as her duties called and sat up, her lilac tail wrapping neatly around her front toes when the former Shadowclan queen walked in and began her case in a flurry of claims. She had been appointed as a forever queen so her role must have been significant enough, as she claimed. A queen being kind and caring but willing to kill for her kits was a prerequisite for a decent queen, though Daisypool also understood that that didn't mean it was prevalent enough among some. But there was something lurking beneath it all and, once Dappledleaf had finished, Daisypool asked the question that burned on her tongue,
"It sounds as though you had a successful enough career and you had served your clan well. But tell me, dear, how is it that you died as Shadowclan's forever queen? And why is it that you want to 'start anew'?"
