It had been a few days since Roxy had seen Tallflood. She missed him. And Oceanweb. That she-cat seemed... so kind and pretty. 'The way she looked at me was like how Tallflood looks at me. Does she like me like Tallflood does?' She wondered.

Since the two left, Roxy had made a living for herself. She forced herself to learn how to hunt mice and birds and build shelters. She dug dens for herself and moved if she had to. But she stayed close to WindClan territory. Just in case Tallflood comes back.

Her fur would never be as clean as it was when she was with her twolegs. It would always be sort of dirty, no matter how many times she groomed it. But she didn't mind it. Survival was more important.

Roxy sighed, entering her den she dug under a tree. She lay down, yawning and closing her eyes...
