"C'mon then, let's make haste." She flashed Silkwisp a warm smile in response to her nod. She was glad that Silk wouldn't mind accompanying her to the outskirts.
Even though Owltalon tried to maintain a tough exterior, the sight of the scarred up outsider made her heart leap in her throat. An expression of worry flashed across her face before it stiffened out into a firm glance. Even if she wanted to at least patch their wounds, Owltalon was no medicine cat.
The Lionheart sidetracked to bury the crab that was just caught. Why let the food go to waste? While the intervention with the kittypet was unexpected, she wasn't about to let good prey sit out and rot.
She returned back to the group of cats and kept a concerned yet keen eye on the intruder.
