Fadedshade stood and shook out her fur, took a step and let out a pained yowl. Her eyes watered and she looked up at her paw, and blood dripped from her pad. “Owch…” she murmured, collecting her usual quiet air again. The pain shot up her leg, a large sharp stone had dug its way into her pad. Ouch!
