Brokenstar had noticed a lull in the discussion, following Rotthroat being questioned by his attending judges.
"I've seen newborns with more resolve and integrity than you. Learn to speak for yourself before you meekly come before us and waste our time, or don't bother showing your face again. Get the hell out of our sight." He sincerely hoped this one didn't bother, if he was going to entirely lack accountability and blame a parent for his misdeeds. Wishes and wants were nothing when reality was never so kind, and the only cards one could play were the ones they were dealt.
He dismissed the Wardens, signaling an end to this pathetic plea for a new start. If Rotthroat tried again, he'd better be ready with a stronger pitch.
