Stagheart finally felt the mother beaver's weight crumple beneath him. The beast was still alive, but bleeding out. It would only be moments before it was dead, and it certainly wasn't moving from that spot.
"Finish it off if y'want," he muttered to his remaining Clanmates before launching himself towards Caveclaw to help.

He attempted to leap onto the beaver kit, trying to distract it by taking some hits from its tail as the last few swipes of his attack Clanmates. He grunted from the brunt of the hits; they knocked him back and failed to get his claws on the thing, but it wasn't nearly as painful as the full-grown mother beaver's tail.

He went for the tail again, a bit smarter this time and weaved around its swinging arcs. He slashed wildly at the beaver kit, finally managing to break through its tough pelt. Between his distraction and the last few strikes from Caveclaw and others who came to help, he saw it go down, bleeding out from injuries.
Nodding in appreciation and fueled by adrenaline, he hared over towards Bearsnout, Pigeonpelt, and Morningmimic.
"Y'need help?" He called as he skidded to a halt by the hulking form of the father beaver. He was about to jump in but honestly, by Bearsnout's lunge for the neck, it looked like he was doing just fine. Dark blood was spurting from the wound, and the buck-toothed beast looked ready to crumple.
