No more than ten seconds later, another kit padded out of the nursery. This one was quite similar to the earlier kit.
"Hm..Where did he go.." The kit mewed, now prowling about the clearing, eyes narrowed. She sniffed the air, as if that would help in making her seem a bit menacing. She wondered if they were even supposed to be out of the nursery, shaking her thoughts away and returning to the task at hand: finding her littermate.
"Here I come, Turtlekit!" She mewed, bounding towards the apprentices' den, but not looking behind it. She looked outwards, towards the other dens and decided to stay still, planning out her next courses of action.
