Frostedflight was sort of protective around her whenever other cats came. She only learned that whenever Fallenspirit had interrupted their meeting.

"No, I have not met Marshfur. I can't wait until I do. Perhaps you will send him with news soon?" Frostedflight inquired. He wanted the gathering to be over. It was uncomfortable for him, sitting this close to Rainberry and not being able to show true affection for her.
