"Oh," he meowed, for the first time his stutter seemed to have diminished, but it only lasted a moment. He stiffened the second that her nose touched his smokey pelt, more surprised than uncomfortable. They had just met. He didn't know whether this was appropriate. He heaved a sigh once he felt her tears begin to dampen his fur. There wasn't much he could do at this point. He had his ears pinned back, but forced them to stans straight as to not extenuate how uncomfortable he was with the situation. He leaned down and gave Littlewing's ear a few tentative licks. "Y-You're n-not d-dumb, t-these things h-happen," he mewed, attempting to be reassuring with plain logic.
