"Very." was the word that slid out of her mouth. It was just a reaction. Doesong had been taught to do it many times. "If a cat from another asks you 'Clan well?' say Very, or yes", so to speak. Many, many times. It wasn't a lie either, RiverClan was doing well. Doesong said nothing else, waiting for his remark.

"That's good." He meowed, his voice hiding his annoyance. Why didn't she help the conversation along. Pretty soon, he felt like he was just gonna shrug her off completely. If she didn't want to talk to him, he wouldn't talk to her.
"ThunderClan is strong." His voice was almost like a dare. The tom couldn't help adding this bit of info. It probably had something to do with his need to one-up pretty much anything others said. It had gotten him in trouble more than once.
