Pinewhisker looked back to Needlescar and Sproutwhisker, waving his tail and sending a smile their way as to say goodbye as he limped off to be tended to in the medicine cat’s den, which surprised him that he could even be seen by a healer due to all the injuries in the clan, but he decided not to question a good thing. His leg was stinging quite badly and he was sure that things needed to be looked at before it got infected. The young tom was no medicine cat, so he didn’t assume anything with his injuries until it was looked at Daypaw or Geckoleaf. As the Shadowclan male walked into the medicine den, he lifted his head to peer at all the herbs that were scattered everywhere and even met a few gazes of some cats that were being treated, some looking worse than others. He was always respectful and thankful towards the wonderful medicine cats, even the ones in other clans other than his own. He felt a little nervous, if he were to be honest, not knowing where to go or where would be a good place to lay down. Pinewhisker didn’t want to get in the way of anyone else’s treatment, of course. The brown-furred male even saw a few small kittens in there and could only hope the best for the young ones. He awkwardly decided to sit in an open spot in the area, trying not to put any weight onto his bad leg as his tail rested on his front paws.

Daypaws ears twitched at they heard a cat step into the den. Turning their head they scanned the tom up and down, eyes narrowing and scanning for an injury. Their ears perked immediately,¨Whats wrong with your leg.¨ they mewed bluntly. They could tell something was wrong simply from the way the warrior sat. They padded towards him, offering a shoulder to lean on,¨Wont do you any good to be sitting here, Ill give you a nest.¨

Rainshadow limped into the medicine den, grumbling to herself. The old Burmese looked around for Daypaw, muttering "All because of the stupid flood," as she searched. She didn't spot the apprentice, so with a quiet mouth she said "Daypaw? You in here? I got myself a tad bit of a problem."

Their ears perked with their name being called. Honestly since the flood it seemed more and more cats had been piling up in the den and it was just making Daypaw lose more and more sleep. It tired them to say the least, giving a twitch of their ears when their name was called, they hadnt even heard them come in. They turned around briefly, looking towards the warrior,¨What seems to be the problem?¨

Daypaw held the stick close to the apprentices leg, proceeding to carefully but tightly wrap cobwebs around both the leg and the stick, having the leg straightening out against it. ¨Its like..a cast of some sort. Your legs broken, this will help it stay in place to the..uh..bone can heal.¨ Daypaw had much to learn still, all they knew was that a bone was broken, but that was it. They didnt know how long it would take it heal, or if they were even doing it correctly, but they were learning.
