And with that, Hazelflower clambered to her paws, leaving Maskedfeather alone to wallow in his own self-pity. He was her clanmate, but she wasn't there to comfort him like a kit for the rest of the night - she needed to find her daughter. Hazelflower disappeared into the battling wave of felines....
