Just wanted to include this here: sphynx cats are not allowed in the Clans because they wouldn't survive Maine elements. Maine is known for being cold and because spynxs have hardly any fur, they would die shortly after becoming a wild cat. They lack not only the ability to retain body heat through the cold winter and spring, but also have less protection against bites and scratches.

The only way Dogear would be able to survive is as a kittypet and Lionstar would not allow him to join the Clan.
