"As much as I love the river," he spoke as he rolled in the water, letting himself float on his back in the gently drifting current, "I haven't been able to get some free time recently. So much to do, so little time to do it."

He gazed up at Buckbranch, head lying flat against the surface of the river. "I can't imagine you're interested in that, though! How's things been going on your side of the stream, darling? I can only imagine the horrors under Buststar's leadership."
