Waspkits cut from the freakish goslingkit was already still raw, red. The addition of another slap, including those beautiful sharp claws, caught the kit over the snout harshly. He fell back, new wound crimson red and the old one just as bloody. Another howl, this time pure distress, echo'd from the kitten.
