Oceanstar sat on the Moon Rock (Clan Meeting Place), looking over her Clan. She had to admit, it was quite small right now, but surely that would change in the future! Especially considering her second litter of kits would be born soon. (MATE OPEN) She was a considerably smaller , compared to the others. Oceanstar ruffled her blue-gray fur, and smiled. The Clan needed a deputy, and there was only one eligible warrior. He would be good, but she wanted to make sure she could trust him. She remember the rampage on camp they had suffered ten moons ago. The Clan had all but been wiped out, and she knew the badgers weren't finished with them yet.

Waterleaf padded out of her den, yawning. What a lovely morning! She glanced around and noticed her sister, Oceanstar, upon the Moon Rock. The Medicine Cat walked over, smiling,
"Good Morning, Oceanstar."
