My Mood: Confused
Default Re: Tunnel of Eden [Who Did It?]

Amelia felt oddly exposed in the middle of the tunnel, waiting for a reply from the two. Her green eyes were still lined with concern, but uncertainly flickered within them. The she cat was never sure as to how she should carry herself around strangers. She was certain she looked awkward, but curiosity had forced the shy feline out of her corner of the world. Amelia’s ears twitched as she heard a faint echo behind her, though she wasn’t able to discern it very well. She wasn’t very concerned, since the tunnels were full of other cats and creatures. It was a bit early for them to be their usual bustling selves, but perhaps others had picked an interest in the new arrival as well. In fact, Amelia spotted Hannibal, a rather mysterious feline, lurking at the edge of the group. He never said much, but Amelia wasn’t deterred and could appreciate his shyness. However, she wasn’t sure if his shyness was the same as her own. She smiled timidly towards him in greeting before her attention was drawn to a voice emerging from the echoes. Sappho. Amelia blinked once as she heard rapid paw steps behind her and whirled around in time to see her mate emerge from the shadows. Quickly deciding Sappho wasn’t running for her life, Amelia smiled happily at her mate and padded quickly up to her. Amelia bumped her head beneath Sappho’s chin and dragged her flank across the other she’s chest before coming to a stop at her side. “Sappho! It’s alright.” The pale she murmured softly, her gaze resting on the two toms once again. Belatedly, Amelia noticed another she cat making her way into the tunnels. “Just new arrivals.” Amelia’s tail wrapped around Sappho’s and tugged it out from beneath the she cat’s quivering legs, her side pressed completely to her mate. Her green eyes tracked the suddenly busy tunnel, taking in the new comers nervously. She knew the tunnels were a place of peace, which was one of the reasons they had stayed so long, yet Amelia wasn’t used to things being so perfectly quiet all the time. The she cat drew back slightly so the two weren’t in the way, but she couldn’t help but peer forwards in an attempt to get a better look at the others without being too obvious. Though she doubted she succeeded.
