Mina

Mina blinked, her emerald eyes gazing at the children in the orphanage. She groaned inwardly, out of boredom. There’s never anything to do around here. Sister Krohn doesn’t even let us play in the woods. she pushed the trolley of mugs full of piping hot chocolate. She was on drink duty, as she was one of the oldest. Even the name sounds dumb she thought, wheeling the big metal trolley, scratching against the dining hall’s wooden floorboards. “Hot chocolate!” she called, short curly black hair bouncing up and down as she jumped up, counting how many children were eating. She then laid each cup on each table before sitting down, rubbing her sore wrists from picking all the cups up.
