Essie sat, her tail flicking as she watched the tom carefully, her whiskers twitched in amusement as he spoke of his time spent without her. "I'm sorry Romeo, my housefolk took me to the vet this morning." The molly meowed slowly, as if each word made her more weary. The rotund she-cat shuffled her paws uncomfortably, "Romeo..." She said slowly, "I-I'm going to have kits." She meowed glancing down at her protruding stomach, thinking to herself that it seemed to have grown since she woke up earlier in the morning.
