At the sound of patrols being called, Goldenpaw lifted his head up and looked around to see if he could spot his patrolmates. Stomach churning with a sudden bolt of apprehension, he stood and made his way over to two warriors before he could even entertain the thought of staying behind.

Managing a polite nod to the others, his eyes flickered between Mousefern and Dapplebreeze before settling on a point somewhere outside the camp.

Goldenpaw had been watching Cowtuft approach different cats in the clearing, a thoughtful frown on his face. He'd had little experience with the gestures that the medicine cat used, but if this was about herb patrols then he felt it'd be best to pay attention, just in case he accidentally missed something.

His focus paid off as he caught a gesture towards him. Giving his chest fur a brief lick, Goldenpaw rose to his paws and padded up to Silentleap and Snowybreeze. "I'm here," he meowed quietly.
