Overview:
Mist is a… very enigmatic tom. He's often seen with a distracted look in his eyes, looking off into the distance while lost in his thoughts. He's so placid and aloof that he's always seen with a phlegmatic expression, and his uninterest with others, especially in regards to feelings and emotions, makes him rather apathetic to his peers. Due to his vague and blunt manner of speaking, Mist is known to be tactless when speaking, having a disregard for others' emotions and believing them to be simply dramatic. His forgetful nature also makes him difficult to deal with, making it so that others tend to avoid him when possible. He's irreligious, brushing off declarations of StarClan and believing it better to decide by themselves what is best for themselves and their Clans. He's a logical and realistic thinker, mainly due to his inability to completely understand and express emotions, making him trustworthy during dire situations or overly emotional situations. Mist is a solitary cat, preferring to be alone and keep himself reserved, seeing no point in sharing things that no needs to be bothered to know. His indifference to many things makes Mist someone often seen in a weirdly negative light, but he holds no animosity for others for the most part. He's calm, clear-headed, and respectful at times, and has never been seen angry except one time on private during an argument. He's incisive and intuitive, which makes it easy for him to figure things out with little clues and hints, and it often surprises him how easily others miss those hints. He's modest, honest, rational, and forthright, unafraid to point out something wrong or stupid, and prefers to figure things out with thinking rather with aggression.

BIO:
Kithood/Growing Up:
Mist was born alongside his brother, Cloudy, to Tuna, a former kittypet, and Scruffy, a loner, born the only kits between the duo. The two had met when they were younger, with Scruffy entertaining Tuna stories of his adventures as a loner and teaching her how to survive in the wild, before they eventually fell in love. Before long, Tuna was to have Scruffy's kits but, fearing that her kits would be taken away, she refused to tell her mate and ran off once she realized she was going to have a litter. Scruffy was distraught after being seemingly and suddenly ignored but, eventually, he came to accept the fact and respected her decision. Meanwhile, Tuna was also distraught at having to leave her love and housefolk but focused on her unborn kits instead, eventually having Mist and Cloudy when the moon was full. Luckily for her, Mist and Cloudy looked alot like her, albeit with Mist being a partial blue-silver tortie, and though the kits were curious as to who their father was, Tuna never answered and raised them herself. While Cloudy was an excitable and happy kit, like most other kits, Tuna often worried about Mist, who was an unusually quiet and reserved kit, uninterested with others except his family, preferring to keep to himself and stare blankly while lost in thought. Though Tuna never uttered a word about the kits' father to anyone, even her sons, it didn't take for Cloudy to pester their mother as to who their father was, usually ending with Tuna getting irritated with him. Tuna and Cloudy were always arguing over the subject, but Mist seemed indifferent, often ignoring their arguments and merely looking off in the distance with a blank stare, unnerving his family members at times and making Tuna keep some of her distance with him. Cloudy tried to play with Mist, who never really reacted to games, before simply bringing him new things that he thought were cool and wanted to show off, like pretty stones. While Mist never really reacted to them, he enjoyed seeing the things his brother brought to show him, and his eyes always seemed brighter when that happened. While his relationship with his brother was well, his relationship with his mother was… strange. Mist loved his mother, and Tuna loved her sons, but Tuna often found her son's strange behavior unnerving and, while trying her best to understand, she wasn't always willing to spend a lot of time with him. In fact, the moment they were weaned, Tuna often spent time hunting or finding new homes for the family, though she always made time to visit and play with her kits… sometimes. Cloudy often felt like their mother abandoned them due to that, with Mist secretly agreeing with him, and the two brothers spent even more time together, becoming so close that they rarely weren't around each other, and Cloudy often helped Mist to be social and more open, though failing miserably.
Loner:
At six moons, Tuna began to properly prepare Mist and Cloudy for survival. While Tuna was a gentle and patient mother for the most part, she was often frustrated by Mist's somewhat difficult personality, given his more defiant and aloof nature. The blue-silver and white tortie preferred to do training his way, often forgetting to return home on time or just refusing to participate whenever he could. As such, it was a common sight for Tuna to be scolding Mist, with his brother Cloudy trying to defend him and Mist himself looking absentminded and distracted all the while. Cloudy tried his best to help remedy Mistpaw's difficult personality, though there was never any progress, and the two instead spent a lot of time hunting and play-fighting together. As time went on, Mist often undermined his mother and often did things his way, going out to fish or explore the territory to be away from others for a time, and he became notorious for being a pain to train, to the point that Tuna was soon able to train him before he lost interest and went off by himself some days. Some time during which Mist and Cloudy did their training, Scruffy ended up falling in love again and ended up having another litter of kits, making Mist and Cloudy older brothers, albeit without either side knowing. Scruffy's new mate was [NEW MATE], and they had [HALF-BROTHER] and [HALF-SISTER], and Scruffy was finally able to become a father to kits like he had wanted to be with Tuna, still unaware of his ties to Mist and Cloudy. Eventually, Cloudy grew a stronger curiosity of who their father really was and, though Mist really didn't care, he was dragged around by his brother to ask Tuna who, like before, often avoided the conversation or snapped at them that they didn't need to know. However, that wasn't enough for curious little Cloudy who, one very rainy night, asked Mist if he wanted to join him in finding their father. Mist, sleepy and unnerved by the very heavy rainfall, refused and went back to sleep, and Cloudy went out, wandering around and trying to find his father. He began with a nearby river, believing that Tuna had taken them there to eventually meet their father. Unfortunately, the heavy rainfall resulted in the river flooding, and Cloudy was swept away in the water. The following day, Mistpaw was awoken by his mother's grieving wails, and ran out to see Cloudpaw's corpse having appeared on the shore of the river. Traumatized by his brother's death and feeling guilty for not trying to stop him from going out that stormy night, Mist became even more secluded, looking more empty once Cloudy was gone. Tuna, griefstriken by Cloudy's death, tried to spend more time with Mist and comfort him over their shared loss, though he never seemed to acknowledge those actions. However, due to that, Mist became much easier to train, mainly due to him being numb from grief, and his time spent with Tuna went smoothly afterwards, which made Tuna happy to see Mistpaw take training seriously and devote himself to it despite Cloudy's death. Not long after Cloudy's death, Mist and Tuna ended up living near where Twolegs were often spotted near the forest, and Tuna forbade Mist from interacting with them. Despite that, Mist went out hunting close to them, with Tuna following and scolding him, and the two got into an argument, mainly after Tuna brought up Cloudy again, with Mist snapping at his mother for abandoning them and, if she had told Cloudy who their father was, he wouldn't have died in the first place. While their argument took place, a Twoleg spotted the duo and went to grab them. Unwilling to lose her last child, Tuna forced Mist into a bush and was taken by the Twolegs. Mist desperately tried to get her back and stop the Twolegs from taking her, but he was unsuccessful, and he felt even more remorseful due to their final interaction. He tried to go searching for Tuna multiple times, but eventually, no leads turned up, and he was distraught by the loss of his last known family member. Refusing to acknowledge his grief and remain in it, Mist continued to travel and survive in the wild, remaining an enigma of a tom as he continued to wander the world.

Quirks
*Due to his age and genetics from his mother, Mist is slightly smaller than most other adults and some Clan warriors, and looks more like an apprentice than warrior. However, he still has time to grow.*
*As his family often spent time near rivers, Mist is skilled at swimming, and from his father he got his lithe and lean build, giving him an easier time running among open areas and weaving through crowded areas.*
*Mist may enjoy himself with things or be uneased by others, but since he rarely changes his facial expression from absentminded and uncaring, it's rather difficult to tell, unless you pay close attention to his eyes… though he will find that creepy if you do so.*
*Despite being a good swimmer, Mist tends to avoid swimming in the river and prefers ponds, due to what happened to Cloudy.*
