usually, I suggest learning color theory to add more details (not necessary but might help)

also looking at others' art who have rendered and not totally and heavily reference but learning off them, might help to look up some videos on youtube

(Bluebiscuits has videos that might help you a bit)

But don't rush yourself into improving, I recommend practice!
