Loon bowed low to the ground as his leader past. He heard a hiss behind him and turned around to see his pesk of a mate hissing at him. He growled and stood up straight. Shard got up and walked over, nodding her head politely to Mink. The two she-cats were in the same boat with the being forced to be mates with the toms. Her green eyes flashed angrily at her mate before she turned to a small she-kit.
"Hi Shard!" the tiny kit squeaked, her gray tabby fur sticking out all over the place. Shard ignored the kit and sat down. Two more kits came up to her. The black tomkit growled and crashed into the dark gray tomkit. The dark gray kit squealed and bowled into Mink. Shard stood up and grabbed the kit, hissing furiously at it.
"Be careful, Slash!" she snarled. She didn't care that Loon was giving her a nasty look.
"Be nice to your kits, you stupid cat!" he hissed, then looked embarrassed. He couldn't believe he was arguing with his dumb mate in front of his glorious leader. "I apologize for my mate's behavior, Rune."
Shard grabbed the kits and stalked away, tail flicking angrily.

Mink turned her eyes on Shard sadly, her eyes watched the kits and let out a purr as one of them bumped into her, but when Shard snapped at them she narrowed her eyes. Even if she had to give birth to Rune's kits, she would love them anyway. "Oh it is alright Shard." she called after her.
Rune turned his eyes on Loon. "It is alright." he meowed, then turned back to the rabbit. "Better keep an watchful eye on your mate though." He laughed. "And those kits of yours, train them...I want them to be as wonderful as me." he snickered. "Now would you like to share this prey with me. We have some talking to do."
