Shard retreated closer to the nursery, muttering to her kits. "You three need to be careful around Rune and Mink!" she didn't seem angry, just a little upset. She kept throwing ugly looks over her shoulder at Loon, who was looking pleased.
Loon let out a pleased trill. "Of course, Rune. What do we need to talk about?" he got up and smiled widely.
