That would be taking it a little too far. Val was more civilised, street-smart, he knew the ins and outs of every one of these houses, and could likely instruct you on where the fridge was placed in each home. He was used to the taller creatures being close-by, and was barely even affected when they came tumbling in his direction. Maybe that was a sign that he shouldn't be near the homes as much... Of course, cats should uphold their general fears and tactics in order to survive, but Val had already broken that by stealing food and resources. It was just easier than having to do it all by himself.
Alabaster plumage shifting in the wind, the tom-cat calmly set the fish upon the ground. His tail swayed hesitantly, yet his expression of being unaffected rolled smoothly across his form. The feline glanced towards the side awkwardly, before once again meeting her gaze. "Yeah... sorry about that." his voice was soft and husky, as if he was afraid of being too harsh with the female. She just seemed so soft and elegant, he couldn't help himself.
The tom ensconced his hues onto her, watching her movements and noticing the hurried actions that her own eyes had been taking. This only boosted Val's confidence, and he rose a brow. "Doll? I guess that suits you, but I'd go more along the lines of Angel." he paused, waiting a split second just to give the words more meaning. Of course, it was just his charm speaking, if he had truthfully meant it there would be more depth and importance to the words. Otherwise they were just plain and simple.
"The name is Val. Short for Val."

Doll nodded distantly, studying the tom. She was used to cats surprising her, it was a normal thing for her. They often showed up and said something that startled her. Her reaction could be much worse than when she was in a piratically jumpy mood. Lucky for her, she had been pretty happy, and she had only shrieked when he appeared. Sometimes she ran and hid. That was the most embarrassing. Cats often times apologized, and Doll got rather upset when they did not. She did not believe that if someone startled her then they should apologize. But the tom had apologized, and he seemed nice enough. He was fluffy with alabaster plumage that ruffled in the wind. He was larger than her, but she didn't mind, she only would if she assumed he was a threat. He was polite and seemed kind, he hadn't come over just to tease her for no reason at all.
Doll shrugged, she didn't really care if her name suited her, though being called an angel was honestly a first. She had heard cats giving her all kinds of complements, but none had been about her being more like an angel. Doll smiled a little bit. He was definitely a friendly cat she decided, because if a cat was not friendly why would he have complemented her? Wasn't that a thing that only nice cats did? She was pretty sure it was. "Thanks." She said rather awkwardly, and began studying her paws. She was often flattered by things cats said and it made her really, really awkward. When he introduced himself, Doll decided that she should probably say something nice, but she didn't know what to say. "That's a nice name." She said, trying to sound as not awkward as possible.
