Dogpaw had been sleeping peacefully, well as peacefully as you got after murdering your own mentor, but whatever. She was curled up in the apprentices' den, sleeping in the large empty nest her and her sister had once shared.
Was the noises' outside apart of her nightmare? Surely not. She startled away and saw the flashes of unfamiliar cats; the stench of fish was thick in the air.
The shadowclan apprentice let out another attempt at a war cry before charging ahead into the battle, desperate to do some damage that wasn't to her own clan for once.
