ThornFang scowled and took a mouthful before swallowing and taking another. Then he leaned back to allow her a bite. That was when he realized the she-cat had lain close beside him. He quickly shifted a bit away for some distance between them, even though it was because he was not used to another cat so close. He may have hurt her feelings, but having another cat so near him he was not sure he could take.
