Jaywing is large Maine Coon tomcat who was given his name for his long, wispy blue-ish gray tabby fur. He has white spectacle-like markings around his green-gray eyes. He is currently 23 moons old.
personality : Jaywing is a jovial cat, always joking about one thing or another. He rarely takes much of anything seriously, much to his sister's annoyance. While he would much rather be lazing about in the sun, Jay is a surprisingly avid bird hunter, though it isn't necessarily the prey he is after. You see, Jaywing collects feathers. His sister is convinced he is bird-brained, but his nest is full of colorful feathers that he has collected over the years. He gives these to those he cares for.
history : Jaywing and his sister Shadowstep were born at the edge of the moor to Dusty, a kittypet who ran away from her twolegs to save her kits from being sold. There were five kits born to Dusty, but, as the cold season sank its claws into the land, prey became scarce. As his siblings slowly starved, Jaywing and his sister did their best to provide for their family. Jay would lie in wait, teaming up with Shadowstep to bring down birds and rabbits whenever they could, using their fur and feathers to keep their nest warm. Unfortunately, they couldn't save their family. That bareleaf, Dusty and her other kits fell victim to starvation.
