Nightpaw padded through the territory at Goldenstar's side, the frost-covered needles crunching softly under her light pawsteps. The cold breeze stung her eyes and carried forest scents with a tang of icy chill. She flattened her ears against her head to keep them warm, as they trekked on, waiting for Goldenstar to start.
